Sorry for not posting yesterday, I forgot! ❤️ Here's the recipe!
Hey! Today we'll be making a lemon mug cake with white chocolate chips in it! I decided to make this today because my last lemon cake was a failure and I absolutely love lemon flavors. I shall avenge you, my sweet lemon! I've been making a lot of mug cakes with chocolate chips recently, so I decided to keep adding to my collection! If you don't like chocolate chips, feel free to leave them out. They won't damage the recipe.
Ingredients:
6 tablespoons of flour
3 tablespoons of sugar
1/2 of a teaspoon of baking powder
1 tablespoon of white chocolate chips
1 tablespoon of lemon zest
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
2 and a half tablespoons of milk
1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
1/4 of a teaspoon of vanilla extract
3 drops of yellow food coloringInstructions:
1.) Stir your flour, sugar, baking powder, lemon zest, and chocolate chips (optional) together in a microwave-safe mug.
2.) Add in your wet ingredients. This includes the lemon juice, milk, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, and food coloring.
3.) Cook your cake in the microwave for one and a half minutes.
Enjoy! I hope you liked this recipe! This was another recipe that caused me to try again and again. I didn't understand how to add more lemon flavor to the cake. Turns out, you just have to add lemon zest. I might try an orange version of this later on, we'll see! See you next Sunday with another recipe!
