Chapter 14

"Oh joy, it's Butthole the Barbarian from Dungeons of Dumbass," the curly haired goth mocked.

A sarcastic smile graced Akira's lips, "Nice to see you too, Goth Frodo. Or what I like to call you Dumbass Number One," she mocked back as she mentally image herself beating him to a pulp and flipping him off.

"You got to admit she looks better," the red and black haired goth commented.

"Yeah, she's ALMOST a goth," the goth girl agreed.

"Being goth isn't just how you dress, it's a frame of MIND. It's time for you to prove that you go against society's rules," the curly haired goth told.

"Yeah," the youngest goth agreed with the curly haired goth.

"There's a big PTA meeting happening right now at the Community Center. You need to walk right into the middle of that meeting and tape this sign to their table," the curly haired goth informed as he stands up from sitting on the steps and hands Akira a sign that said 'Fuck the Conformists!' in black marker.

"Yeah.........THAT will prove your individuality," the red and black haired goth agreed.

"Go on, beat it. And don't come back until you have a PICTURE of that sign taped to the PTA table," the curly haired goth told her as Akira rolled her eyes. Grumbling Akira left the school's grounds, heading toward the Community Center as she and Stan got closer while her companion hesitated.

"Uh, yeah, have fun in there...........I think I'll wait out here," Stan informed as he stood next to the Community Center's doors.

"Fine," Akira agreed as she entered the building.

Upon entering Akira saw a bunch of disgruntled adults as one of the adults yelled out, "It isn't RIGHT, I tell you! Out of NOWHERE this HUGE Taco Bell is being built, and now our CHILDREN are missing precious school time!"

"Parents, we've been assured by the builders that they are working to fix whatever problems they've encountered and school should be able to resume," a woman with curly blonde hair tried to calm down the adults.

"Resume SOON?! Who do they think they are?! They think we're gonna see a Taco Bell as being important than our kids education?!" a man yelled out angry.

"What if it's not REALLY a Taco Bell we're dealing with?" a man with black hair and black mustache that Akira briefly met on the alien spaceship, 'I wonder how he got out of the spaceship?' Akira mentally wondered. The man saw Akira standing near the entrance, "Thanks for coming new kid," he greeted her as she walked closer raising her eyebrow, "Everyone, this is the kid whose family just moved to town. We've become very close friends. Her name is.......... what's your name?"

"Kira," was all Akira told, placing a hand on her hand on her hip.

"This is a waste of everyone's time! If the PTA isn't going to do something about Taco Bell taking over then the rest of us parents will!" one of the adults yelled from behind Akira as the rest of the adults except for the PTA members agreed exiting the building.

Akira shrugged her shoulders while she approached the table to tape the sign when the man she met on the spaceship snatched the sign right out of her hands, "Hey!"

"Look, I KNOW how you're feeling okay? But THIS isn't going to solve anything," he informed, "We've go to get inside that 'Taco Bell' and find out what's really going on. Help me with that and I'll help you with this."

"Fine, I'll go find any evidence that this 'Taco Bell' is a fraud," Akira agreed as she left the Community Center. Exiting the building she gestured for Stan to follow her when they arrived at the construction site, Akira witnessed a man get shot in the head for asking to many questions and nobody saw it. The man's wife saw that he fell down, breathing heavily Akira tried to calm her breathing as she had a flashback of when her grandmother sacrificing herself to protect Akira and her parents from that man, 'Sol, are these the same people who took my grandmother away from me?' she mentally questioned, slightly scared that they were as pedestrians left the area.
