silent halls

We all have that special someone in our lives. But before them our lives were like silent halls.

Crying a river, not to be seen.
Silent halls filled with unanswered calls.
Broken phones with nowhere to go.
Walking all alone.
Stuck in these silent halls.

Then when they're there is like you've finally found someone who will always be there.
These silent halls aren't so silent anymore.

Once silent halls filled with laughter.
Filled with smiles and not tears.
Our minds not so much like bots, switching gears.
Theses halls weren't so silent.

Then they leave. Your halls silent once more.
Filled with a sea of your tears.
Drowning your sorrows in bottles of beer.
They left your halls silent.

Silent halls, with unanswered calls.
Broken phones with nowhere to go.
How can we call this place home, when it is only filled with silent halls.
