AJ's Poetry Book

A tale of a broken heart.

She chased others and he waited.
She loved him but never stated.
He chased her but she stopped him. 

Called him "like a brother".
"Just friends".
He loved her and he kept chasing.
She told him how she was really feeling.
They got together.
Were so in love.
Then He left her.
Alone.
In the cold.
With nowhere to go.
He was her everything, her best friend, the one to stand up for her, the one who was awalys there...
He was gone now.
Of course she still cries.
She loved him.
She will love him till she dies.
He Said he loved her but walked away like what ment the world to her ment nothing to him.
Anxiety and depression started to fill in.
He was her friend and her lover.
Then he was gone.
She was put back in the hell she was once under.
The bullies were back.
She let them win.
Stress at home.
She just couldn't cope.
She hoped to end it all with a rope.
She missed him like the winter missed the snow. And the fall missed the leaves.
She missed him.
His smile, his laugh.
Every the way he got mad.
All that was gone once he decided to leave.
He was the main reason she didn't die.
And the only reason she really tried.
But all that was gone and she wished she could say goodbye.
It hit her so bad the thought of romance made her cry.
Tried to move on but her heart couldn't.
But with the thought him she knew she couldn't.
Her heart getting colder like it used to be.
Making the ones she loves seem like jewelry.
She loved him and she loved him but he said goodbye.
And she couldn't get him back no matter how hard she tried.
She now loves him but likes them.
She keeps trying to get over the things that have been.
She still fights, she really tries,
Although her broken heart wants her to die.
