The two of us make our way through the castle
"I find it very ironic that you would call yourself the goddess of light. After all it was you who turned me into a monster, it was you who hunted me down" said Medusa
"You shouldn't blame me for that, I only reflected your appearance what I saw in your heart" said Palutena
"And what about your heart, I can't imagine what resides there" said Medusa
"You shut your mouth Medusa, lady Palutena is nothing like you. Who turns people to stone and poisons the rivers, who reduces cities to rubble, and who is leading the underworld destruction of the land and the heavens, not lady Palutena. You're the one responsible for all this Medusa, but what I don't get is how you managed to resurrect yourself in the first place" said Pit
"I suppose I don't really remember how that happened either" said Medusa
"Don't play dumb with us" I said
"I don't remember what happened, my memories aren't what they were" said Medusa
"You're slipping Medusa, your mind isn't all there anymore and I can sense your life force is weaker than it used to be. Twinbellows, Hewdraw, Pandora, and Thanatos have all been defeated, but if you promise to withdraw your army and stay in this castle, I will spare you" said Palutena
"Don't be ridiculous, besides it hardly matters how I returned, what matters is why, to exact revenge on you. Turning your little angels to stone is a nice first step" said Medusa
"Threaten all you want, you don't scare us" I said
"We will put an end to you, we'll return to skyworld victorious" said Pit
*time skip to the final battle
"Hahahahaha, HAHAHAHAHA, so we finally meet again Pit and Y/N" said Medusa
"She's huge" I said
"Be careful" said Palutena
"Listen well all you demons of the underworld, in the name of the goddess Palutena and defender of all that is good, those who hide in the darkness will be made to face the light" said Pit
Once we dealt enough damage, it gave Palutena the chance to chain Medusa in place
"The good news is that I chained Medusa's legs in place for you, the bad news is you'll have to get up close and personal with her" said Palutena
"You'll pay for that" Medusa shouted
We dealt some more damage and then Medusa's face turned into that of a monster's face
"Her head" I said
"Now this is the Medusa I remember" said Palutena
"She's hideous" said Pit
"I can't believe she's still fighting like this but this is a battle we can't lose, you both must overcome the darkness of the underworld with light" said Palutena
"The fight against evil ends here" said Pit
We deal enough damage to Medusa's head and then we dealt the final blow
"You did it" said Palutena
Medusa freezes in place and her body reduces to ashes, the underworld castle breaks down into nothing as well
"We did it, we really did it" I said
"Congratulations, I know it wasn't always easy" said Palutena
"But it was so worth it, with the world at peace again even the sun feels warmer" said Pit
"Aww, you're so cute Pit" said Palutena
The three of us share a good laugh with each other
"Now wait just a second" a voice said
"Did you hear something" asked Palutena
"I said wait just a second" the voice said again
"I've got to be hearing things" said Pit
An evil laughter was then heard
"Hades" said Palutena
"Who's Hades" asked Pit
"The true master of the underworld" said Palutena
"Sorry to keep you waiting but now that I'm here, let's get this party started. Welcome to my underworld Pitty pat and miss Y/N, you too pretty Palutena" said Hades
"I'm honored you know who I am" said Palutena
"So these little angels took down big bad Medusa all by themselves, what an accomplishment, goodness you should but this on your resume" said Hades
"What's with this guy" I asked
"But before you do, you should know that I whipped up that Medusa especially for you" said Hades
"Wait, how" asked Palutena
"Add a pinch memories to a ton of souls, put them in a blender and hit frappe" said Hades
"Explain yourself" said Pit
"Her thirst fo revenge was so great it seemed a shame to let it go to waste, oh pretty Palutena you must have done a real number on her" said Hades
"I won't deny that" said Palutena
"She's old news and old news bored me, we must look to the future and that future is me, the true leader of the underworld. Next to me, little miss Medusa's going to look like a sweet cuddly bunny" said Hades
"No, this can't be happening" said Palutena
"I must bid you adieu" said Hades
