"Kaiba sir, you called? Is there something you need?" I turn around in my chair, staring at my employee with large sunglasses and blonde hair. "Yes. I wish for my duel disk. Its time to try again." He immediately interjects, "But sir... Don't you think this obsession has become... Unhealthy? No one has seen you in days... Not even your own employ." I stand up strong. "I don't pay you for your worry. Now get the disk, or get out of my corporation!" "Yes, sir!" He runs off frantically, leaving me to my dark room. The only light within being the blue screen that simulates my deck strategies. Various blips of simulated duels against simulated peoples occur. All ending with my success... It has grown even easier as my days count, since Yugi has chose a new road of life outside of Domino... It almost seems pointless to duel. Especially when my only true opponent is so out of reach... Both sides of him. Atem... Yugi... Why can't I beat them? Why have I forgotten how to try... "Your duel disk, sir." The same employee walks into the room, the light of the door burning into the darkness around me. He then hands me the disk, and I equip it to my arm. "Sir... Mokuba wanted to speak with you, if you are willing." I sigh, then replying. "Not right now. Tell him he may visit at two AM." His head lowers. "Yes, sir..." He walks out slowly, the door shutting behind him and the darkness enclosing me once again. Then the blue light of my duel disk begins to glow, as if showing me that my pain can really only be solved through victory. True victory. "Duel simulation. Atem. Go." Suddenly, my dark room shatters like glass as my surroundings become glass windows, with stone pillars in between. I was in the church once again, and Atem walks forward on the opposite side of the hall. "Kaiba, why do you call me here?" I sigh deeply. "Enough with the lies. We duel now, AI." He closes his eyes, smirking. "Very well, Kaiba. My move." He begins moving his hand to his duel disk, drawing powerfully. "I draw!" He studies the card as I study mine. I have a good hand, but when do I not. "Alright, Kaiba! I summon Doomstar Magician in attack mode! Then, I set two cards face-down. Your move." He points to me fiercely, even though his field isn't anything. "You're nothing, Yugi. I draw!" The card I drew was The White Stone of the Ancients. Perfect. "I set a monster in defense position!" "Is that all you got, Kaiba?" I freeze as he raises an eyebrow, mocking me. Its just an AI... But why does this hurt? "Not a chance! I use Foolish Burial, sending one of my Blue-Eyes White Dragons to the graveyard! I end my turn..." He chuckles to me from across the field. "Typical, Kaiba. You'll never beat me with moves like that." I feel a sting in my chest, wondering what the heck was going on. I didn't program him to do this! "I tribute Doomstar Magician, Kaiba! And his sacrifice will bring forth Cybernetic Magician, in attack mode!" 2400 attack points... My Blue-Eyes can still easily destroy it. "Now I use Allure of Darkness! I banish my Kuriboh from my hand to draw two cards!" "So what, Yugi?" "Observe. I use Double Summon! Now I can summon another monster!" Tsk. Like that will do you any good... "I summon Crusader of Endymion! In attack mode! Now, Crusader! Attack his facedown monster!" Drat. I'm going to take 2400 direct damage. Not my best move... My White Stone shatters, going to the graveyard. The look in Atem's eyes doesn't change. He is as cool is ever. Comforting... "Now, Cybernetic Magician will attack you directly!" A white bolt of lightning strikes my ribs, and I can't help but hiss in pain as my lifepoints drop to 6600. "Breathing hard already, Kaiba? You grow worse by the hour." "S-stop it, AI! You know you aren't supposed to do this!" He just smirks his usual smirk, and my hatred and frustration only grows. "I end my turn, Kaiba. Even though you'll just waste yours." My eyes grow fierce. "Wrong! My White stone of Legend activates!" "Just play your Blue-Eyes, Kaiba. It doesn't matter anyway." His abrupt comment makes me go into a slight shock, but then I suddenly feel a crushing weight on my arms and chest... "I... I..." "Yes, Kaiba?" I place my hand on my deck. "I forfeit..."
