Shai's POV

I woke up late the next day. It was Saturday, and work officially started on Monday. I was supposed to meet my mentor that day, but she cancelled hours before.

I showered then made myself a cup of coffee then sat at the window. The view from there was breathtaking. I could see Seoul city and all its beauty.

The sun was setting, and the orange-yellow glow that was left was beautiful.

I took a couple photos from different angles before video calling my mom.

Mom: Hello!

"Hey, mom," I said, holding up my coffee so she could see it.

"You're already cooking for yourself."

"Yes, mom."

"You were so lazy here. I'm so glad you're on your own now."

"I knew you couldn't wait to kick me out," I said, laughing.

"You have no idea." Mom scoffed.

"So what are you up to there, mom!?"

"Not much. The regular."

"I see!"

"You know yesterday I-"

"Hey, I'll call you back." Mom said, then hurriedly ended the call.

I knew she was busy, so I didn't think much of it.

I was about to put my phone to charge when I heard a soft knock on the front door that startled me.

"Ms Song, could I have a moment, please?" I heard a female voice from behind the door say.

I quickly walked to the door and looked through the peephole. I saw a woman I didn't know standing outside. I opened the door, slowly revealing her piece by piece.

The lady was dressed in a floral dress and sandals.

"Good afternoon. My friends and I will be having dinner, and I'm inviting you to join us. Would you like to come? I noticed you're the new neighbour and I would like to invite you."

"I'll be there in a few, but where is it?" I asked.

"It's down the hall, the first door to the left. You can't miss it," she said

"Okay thanks, I'll be down soon."

"Don't rush because dinner isn't being served yet." She told me.

I then closed the door slowly and got my self ready. I didn't dress up too much because I was only going to have dinner.

I closed the room door and headed out. I followed the lady's instruction and headed in the direction she told me to.

I was about to turn the corner when I heard someone rapping to music.

The owner of the voice was male, and he was heading in my direction.

When I finally got to see who he was, I was startled. I couldn't believe that he was actually standing in front of me.

It was Namjoon, the leader of BTS. The guy that some of the girls in my class, including my best friend, were going crazy for.

When he realised that I was there, he smiled at me.

I got the smile that all my female schoolmates were screenshotting and setting as their wallpaper. I received that smile from him in person.

"Hello!" He said with the sweetest smile ever.
