The members had dance practice for their upcoming album so they all left early. Yoongi asked me the night before if I wanted to stay until he was back and I told him I did.

I wanted to be around him as much as possible because when I left I wouldn't get to see him again for a long time, since we would both be busy with work.

He left when I was still asleep. When I woke up the house was empty and silent. Yoongi had sent me a text message hours before I woke up telling me where things I would need was and telling me to text him if I needed anything, he would text me back as soon as he could.

I got out of bed and decided to make myself breakfast. Everything went well until I walked out of the kitchen.

I walked right into Jimin. We literally collided into each other at the table. Startled, I stepped back and dropped the plate on the table. It made a loud rattling sound but didn't break.

"Shai! I'm so sorry." He said stepping back.

"You're still here?" He continued, trying to start a conversation.

"Yes I am. I'm here for Yoongi. I'll leave soon though because I have work on Monday." I replied.

"Ohh so, you and Yoongi?" He questioned rubbing his chin.

I stared at him for a while and thought about his question. I didn't want to lie to him, but I didn't know how to talk to him about it. I took a deep breath avoiding his eyes.

"Yeah. Actually we're dating." I told him trying to keep a straight face.

"Oh! Okay. I won't pretend I didn't hear what happened last night." He said with a surrendering look.

My eyes widened and I froze. I couldn't believe what he said. Was Jimin eavesdropping? What exactly did he hear?

"You were- I was shocked, I still am. I really don't  know much about you Shai." He said looking away from me.

I turned my face away from him. I felt embarrassed with the reality that we were having that conversation I hoped for a silver lining to get out of the situation but nothing happened.

"I wasn't intentionally listening, or anything like that. I went to get some water when I heard you- " He trailed off and avoided my eyes. His cheeks flushed and his eyes wandered around the room.

"I heard you guys and stopped to see if everything was okay. Clearly, everything was. I wasn't even there for a minute. I left right after." He nervously said running his right hand through his hair.

"Can we sit and talk about what happened between us?" He asked after a short pause.

"What do you mean?" I asked him.

"I know I owe you a better explanation. One I should've given to you at the time." He said looking back at me.

"Okay."

We both sat at the table and Jimin began talking. I still wanted to have my breakfast, so I started eating while Jimin spoke.

"The day before I ended our relationship my aunt that migrated to America when I was twelve called. We were talking and she told me my grandpa passed away."

I stopped eating and became interested in what he had to say. Hearing about his grandfather's death made me feel pity for him.

"My condolences. You must be going through a lot." I said to him.

"Yeah, I've known him my whole life. I didn't even get to see him when he fell really ill. I've been so busy working but anyway, that's not all. She also told me that he wrote his will and gave all his possessions over to me to share between my dad and and other family members. I'm now the owner of his company Ping Min & co."
