Min Yoongi

By the time I got off work, I was so exhausted that I barely found enough strength to pack my stuff and arrange my desk for the next day.

I double-checked my bag, said goodbye to my co-works then left. I didn't bother to call Jimin because his day was just as busy as mine or even busier.

I gripped my bag with one hand and gripped my pepper spray with the other. My co-worker told me multiple times that there was nothing to be afraid of and that guards and video cameras everywhere.

It might've been safe for them since they weren't dating a kpop celebrity who happened to live in the same building. They didn't get threatened and left unconscious near an elevator and certainly weren't breaking any rules that I was aware of. So unless they were in my shoes, they couldn't give me advice.

Still holding pepper spray and hurrying through the hall, I approached Yoongi's studio. Just as I was about to walk by, the door clicked and opened.

Not expecting this, I stepped back, almost toppling over.

Yoongi stared at me for a while silently. My cheeks were flushed by that time. I felt like a complete idiot.

"Are you okay?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Oh....I...Uh...I'm so sorry...I mean...ye...yeah, I'm fine. I'm totally fine." I stuttered.

He stared at me with a blank expression.

"Shai, right?" He questioned, looking down at my name tag.

"Uh...yeah. That's me."

He poked his head out and looked around before setting his eyes on my face once again.

"Where's Jimin? Isn't he supposed to be walking you to your room?" He questioned.

"Oh uh, yes he is, but he's really busy, so he didn't get to come with me tonight."

"Oh, I see. I was going to get something downstairs just now, but I would accompany you to your room if you want. It's late, you know. You shouldn't be walking around these hours alone with all that has happened."

"Yeah, you're right. I wouldn't mind. That would be great, actually."

"Okay. Give me a moment." He went back into the room then came out in a sweater.

I stared at the sweater, not understanding why he decided to wear it.

We walked to the elevator in silence. I pressed the button for where my floor was, the elevator dinged, and we both walked in at the same time.

We silently stood opposite each other, not knowing what to say. Well, at least I didn't know what to say. I was lowkey scared of him. He didn't give off a sinister aura or anything, but his silence and unreadable expressions were very intimidating. It was as if he could see through my soul.

I exhaled low enough so he couldn't notice and slightly turned my head to look at him. At this moment, he lifted his shirt and used it to wipe his face.

My eyes quickly moved from his face to his exposed abs. I couldn't help it. They were eye-catching. I knew it was wrong, but I kept looking.

I was saved by the ding of the elevator as it came to a stop. The doors slid away from each other, and we walked out.

When we got to my door, I stopped and turned to him. I couldn't look him in the face because I was embarrassed for looking at his abs.

He stood there as if waiting for something.

"Thanks for looking out for me," I said, forcing my eyes up to his face.

He still had a straight face as if he hadn't noticed anything. We both knew he did. This is really smart.

"Don't mention it. I'm leaving now, it's getting late. Have a good night's sleep Shai."

"Yeah, thanks. You too, Mr Min."

He stopped when I said that. He quickly turned around to look at me.

"You don't have to call me that. Yoongi is fine." He said.

"Oh. Yeah, okay, got it, Yoongi." I replied, feeling embarrassed.

"Goodnight, Shai." He said as he walked away.

"Goodnight, Yoongi."

I fumbled for the keys in my bag, opened my door and rushed inside, locking the door behind me.

I didn't even make it to the couch; I just sat on the floor and sighed. I was so exhausted I wasn't even there for a year, and I was overloaded with work.

As soon as I took my bag off my shoulder, I began thinking about what happened in the elevator and how I felt about Min Yoongi.

"But what about Jimin?" I thought, snapping myself out of it.

He is such an amazing boyfriend. Constantly checking up on me. Always being so attentive and caring. I couldn't do this to him.

I sat there battling my thought when my phone rang. I quickly took it from my handbag and answered.

Shai: Hey Jimin

Jimin: Hey Shai. How are you? I'm so sorry I didn't get to walk you to your room tonight.

Shai: I'm fine just got in. I'm gonna shower and go straight to bed. Actually, I met Yoongi in the hallway, and he walked me over.

Jimin: Great. I owe Yoongi hyung one.

Shai: Yeah. So how has your day been? You must be really tired right now.

Jimin: Actually, I've done so much that I fell asleep as soon as I got to lay down. That's why I didn't get to be there tonight. I'm really sorry.

Shai: It's okay, Jimin. I'm fine Yoongi brought me up safely.

Jimin: I know, I know. I just.

Shai: It's okay, Jimin. I understand you're really busy. I'm really grateful for all you've done for me.

Jimin: So. You must be tired. I don't want to keep you up so late—Goodnight, princess. I love you.

Shai: Good night. I love you too. Kisses.

Jimin: kisses received and kisses sent.

Shai: Received Goodnight.

Jimin: Sleep tight.

The call ended, and I sat there deep in thought once more. I loved Jimin. I really did, but I wanted to love Yoongi too. I wanted us to be together as a couple. These incidents helped me to realize that I liked him. I liked him way more than I was supposed to.

"What am I going to do now?" I said, getting up from the floor frustrated.
