Your okay I promise

Adora's POV

I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket its Glimmer. I answer immediately. I hear her mumbled cries on the other side. "Glimmer calm down what happened baby?" I ask. She proceeds to tell me the last thing she says before her sobs take over is, "I don't know what to do.". "Just stay calm for me okay I'm heading over right now unlock your window." I say in a calming voice. "Ok" I hear her mumble. The line goes flat. I slip on a pair of shoes and grab a shirt, hoodie, some jeans, and a pair of socks. I walk out of my room. "I'm sleeping somewhere to work on a project." I lie to my dad grabbing my truck keys and rushing out the door. I throw the clothes in the passenger seat. My school stuff is already in here. I back out and speed off.

10 minutes later

I managed to cut my time in half by speeding there. I run to the open window. I look inside and see Glimmer facing the wall away from me. I climb through the window. I quietly take my shoes off. "Are you okay?" I whisper. She's got tears running down her face. I climb onto the bed and just hug her. I know how this feels and to not have some one there with you makes it so much worse. Once she's done crying she looks up at me. I wipe the stray tears away from her eyes. I give her a sweet kiss that tells her she's not alone. We climb under the covers of the bed. She's calmed almost all the way with just a few sniffles here and there. "Adora I'm so sorry I shouldn't have brought you into thi-" I put my finger to her lips. "I know what its like to have these things by myself. I wasn't going to let that happen to you. Plus there's nowhere I would rather be than snuggling in a bed with my girl." Her eyes sparkle when I say the word my girl. "I just-" she starts. "I know I know but your okay I promise. Now try to get some sleep." I whisper. She nods. "Good night Beautiful." is the last thing I say. She finds a comfortable spot in the crook of my neck and drifts to sleep. Soon I'm out too.
