Friday 2

Adora's POV

     I wake up soaking wet. I look up to see my dad with an empty cup. "Why the hell would you do that." I yell "I tried to wake you up multiple times, and you wouldn't budge" he replies. "Ok, let's go with that now get out." He walks out. I check my phone. To see a group chat with Bow, Entrapta, Mermista, Perfuma, Glimmer, and I. Instantly I open to text something.
Me: GOOD MORNING FUCKERS
Flower power: Good morning Adora
Mermaid: Ugh why
Bow & arrow: morning
Robot girl: oof Mermista is my mood
Babe: morning you beautiful idiots
I click my phone off. My sheets are soaked. "Screw you your washing these," I yell. I throw on some clothes then walk to my truck get in and drive off.

I pull up to school and I see Glimmer waiting for me. I get out and hug her. "Ready for tonight?' I ask. She kisses me. "Does that answer your question?" she laughs. I nod my head. We walk into the building, and I see all the football guys around my locker waiting for me I'm guessing. "I guess I better see what that's all about. Why don't you go to your locker." I say. She nods.

I walk over. "What the fuck do you guys want," I say playfully punching one of them in the shoulder. "Hey, Adora." I hear a voice from behind me say. "Hello, Catra," I say calmly. "Ok now seriously why are you guys here?" I ask. "Well we're having a party at Lonnie's house and we wanted to know who's coming so we know what kind of drinks to get, but also who's ready for the game tonight we are going to beat their asses am I right," Rogelio says. "Well I have plans tonight so I can't make the party, but I am ready to kick their asses," I reply. They all look kind of confused when I said I wasn't going to the party. I mean I get it I've gone to every party anyone has thrown, but I have better things to do with my time like cuddle with Glimmer. "Well, I'm going to be there and make sure to get Ultra." Rogelio nods. Everyone breaks away. The bell rings. Fuck I'm late for class and I have a test today. I run down the hall into my class and take my seat next to Entrapta.

Later on

I'm in the locker room getting changed into my gear. I'm putting on the shoulder pads when Catra walks up next to me. Because conveniently our football lockers are next to each other. I finally pull the jersey on when she says, "Might want to tie your cleats otherwise you're going to trip.". "Oh, thanks. So how are things with you and Scorpia anyways?" I say. "They're going good," she replies.

"Everybody out on the field! NOW!" yells our coach. I run for the door. The game is about to start. we take our position on the field. I look into the stands for a spilled second I can clearly see my group of friends cheering. The play starts I take off down the field.

4th quarter

The Score is 28 - 28. They switched me to QB, which I'm fine with because I can play about everything. Its the last 30 seconds off the game. This is it. I start the play. My receivers shoot out like bullets. I see Rogelio at the 10-yard line but there like five guys by him. Catra's at the 15, and theirs only like one guy guarding here and he can't even keep up. I pull my arm back, push forward, and then let go. I send the ball flying through the air into Catra's hands. I'm about to look forward when I get hit by a heavyweight. I fly backward, and everything goes black.

30 minutes

I open my eyes and see Glimmer losing it on the ground next to me. I see Bow and Perfuma trying to calm her down. I try to get up and let out a groan. Glimmer immediately turns to me. "Thank god for your okay." She gives a worried laugh. "I'm okay babe I promise," I say calming her down a bit. I force my self up. It hurts but I don't show it. "They said your ribs are severely bruised" Perfuma buts in. "We should reschedule." Glimmer says. "No it's fine, I'm fine I swear," I say reaching for her hand. She excepts and grabs my hand before pulling me up. Which definalty hurt but it's whatever. We walk to my truck. I walk to her side and open the door for her, before walking over to my side and getting in. I pull out of the parking lot.

I drive down the road for a good 10 minutes. I pull down the dirt road I live on. I drive past my house, and down the road for 5 more minutes. I pull in front of a gate. I get out to open it walk back, and drive in. I drive little ways in until I stop. Were at one of my favorite places not only for hunting but for other things as well.

I open Glimmer's door and escort her to the back of my truck. I open my tailgate. "Wait a second I have to get some stuff. "I say. I open the door to the backseat and grab a bunch of blankets and pillows. I throw them in the back of the truck. I climb in and fix a pallet with blankets, then I place the pillows. I walk back to the door and grab some snacks and waters. When I walk back shes already sitting down on the blanket. I toss the snacks up and climb in. I sit down right next to Glimmer. "Look I'm sorry this isn't the first ideal date, but-" She puts her finger to my lips. "Its perfect Adora this place is beautiful." She whispers. I grab a bag of chips and open them. I start eating. I hear her giggle "What's so funny princess?" I ask. "First of all don't call me princess and, it's just your practically shoving the chips in your mouth," she replies. "Well, I'm sorry I was hungry." I apologize. "Don't be your cute like that." she giggles. I playfully tackle her and pin her down. "Oh yeah well your cuter, princess," I say. "You're going to regret that," she says in a flirty tone. "I don't think I will," I reply. I kiss her softly and pull away, but she pulls me back and kisses me rougher. We only pull back for air and then dive right back in.

After we're done I pull a blanket over us and we lay down just looking at the stars. Glimmer's head lays on my chest. "This is truly amazing Adora," she whispers. " I figured you would like it here," I whisper back. She snuggles in closer. I just lie there stroking her hair. She shivers. I take off my hoodie and give it to her. "Here take this," I say. She doesn't refuse. She just slips it on and snuggles back into me. I wrap one of my arms around her waist. In a few minutes, I can hear her breathing slow down indicating that she fell asleep. I decide to close my eyes for a few minutes. When I open my eyes it's 11:45 P.M. I shake Glimmer awake. "Wake up baby girl it's time to go home," I whisper. Her eyes flutter open "But babe I just want to stay here with you." she whines. "I do too but, I have practice early tomorrow morning. I promise we'll do something else this weekend." I smile. She looks really tired. I pick her up and put her on my shoulder. I walk to the door open it and put her in the seat. I close the tailgate and walk to my door. I get in and fix her seatbelt. I secure mine and turn it on. I pull out and head for the road.

25 minutes later

I pull into Glimmer's driveway and park right next to her car. I shake her awake again. "Babe your home," I say. I open her door for her she gets out and walks to her front door. She notices she's wearing my hoodie. " Oh, You probably want this back." She starts to take it off. "Don't it's yours you look way better in it anyway". I kiss her goodnight. "Oh and babe don't get hurt at practice." She walks in, and I walk back to my truck. I drive home. When I pull in the driveway I cut the engine, get out, and walk to my room. When I open the door throw myself onto the bed and instantly fall asleep.
