When I met you [book 1]

Start of something new

Adora's POV
     My history teacher was out today so I had a free period and basically I just sat in the auditorium napping.
*bell rings*
     I walk out in the hall and decide to go find Glimmer. I find her but she seems to be upset about something. I wonder what's wrong?
    I walk over to her and tap on her shoulder. She just shoved her head into my chest and hugs me. I wrap my arms around her and just hold her. "What's wrong baby?" I whisper softly into her ear. "He.. he" is all she says before bursting into tears. "He who? What? Let's go talk in the parking lot." I say walking towards the door.
Once we get into the parking lot and she finally tells me what's wrong. "Oh my god! Are you okay! Do you need anything at all!" I say frantically. "Just hold me please." She whimpers. "Hold up we can check out so let's just do that." I suggest. She nods her head.
15 minutes later
     Glimmer jumps on my bed and I just cuddle up next to her. It's not to long after that she falls asleep.
Few hours later
     "Hey I got practice but you can stay here." I say shaking Glimmer awake. "Ok." She replies sleepily.
In the locker room
    "After the day I just had, I just want to play football." I huff. "Yeah I heard about you little girlfriend what a shame." I her someone say sarcastically. "You're joking right. Do you really want to try me right now." I glare. "Aw you think you scare me how cute." Catra laughs. "Would you do me a favor and shut the fuck up! I didn't do anything so leave me alone for gods sake!" I yell. "Oh you didn't do anything." She says shooting a thousand glares my way. "No I didn't." I respond.  "How about you fucking left me. How about you never ask how I'm doing anymore. We agreed to be friends still I was trying so hard to still be close but you shit me out completely." She huffs sadly. "WELL HOW ABOUT YOU FUCKING BROKE ME! HUH! IS THAT FUCKING GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU!" I yell letting out all my pent up anger. "Look Catra you were my best friend don't you think I miss that but I want you to respect that I'm happy with someone else. And no matter how much we fight I'm always gonna care about you because thats what best friends do.".  "I do it's just so damn hard because now everytime I go around you it gets awkward I just want to start over. I really miss playing video games and just hanging out. I just want to start over. What do you say dumb ass." She says. All I do is point at her and scream, "It's the start of something new.". "I'm gonna take that as a yes." She smiles. "Hell yeah! Now let's go to practice before coach yells at us." I laugh.
