chapter 13: memory 12
~*~
Mary's POV
I wonder when I'm going to get my memory back. I wonder if I'm going to get my memory back. I'm wondering if I want my memory back.
Key words: when, if, and want.
When I will get my memory back, who knows?
If I will get my memory back, who knows?
Do I want my memory back? Only I know.

"Mary!" My mom's voice was yelling from the living room. "Some boy is here to see you!"
I furrow my eyebrows. I know it's not Cameron because my mother would just tell him to leave without saying anything at all to me. Who could it be? Nash?
I put the pictures back in the shoe box and slide the box back under my bed. When I go out to the front door I was surprised to see Shawn standing there. He had his hands in his pockets and he was rocking back and forth on his feet.
"Oh, hey Shawn." I smile at the cute boy and he returns it.
"Hey Mary." he says as my mom turns and walks out of the room. I tell Shawn to come in and I close the door behind him.
"What are you doing here?"
"I wanted to see if I could help you with getting your memory back." he says and I take in a deep breath.
It was weird having someone else help get my memory back. So far, it's only been Cameron working on it. So when Shawn said that, it just seemed odd.
"What's wrong?" he asks with concern, looking like he just said something completely wrong.
"Uh, nothing," I shake my head and force a smile. "Come on, let's go to my room."
Shawn followed me into my room and I started wondering if he's ever been to my house before. If he hasn't, is he judging how small it is right now? I've seen his house, and I know it's one of the bigger houses. His house is really nice and mine is... small and clustered.
Wait, why should I even care...?
Once we're in my room and my door closes, he starts talking. "Ok, so I googled some stuff last night about amnesia."
"And?"
"And everything was really confusing." he laughs. I laugh too, but I don't find it tat funny. Shawn is just really cute and I feel like if I don't laugh he will be offended. "Anyway, I have a question."
"Hm?"
"Well, I was just wondering if you remember anything at all."
I bite my lip and shake my head. I don't try to think of memories anymore. "Okay, well there's something I wanna tell you."
"What is it?"
"Well, before the accident happened, I had some feelings for you..."
I giggle because I already knew about this but clearly he was oblivious to the fact that I knew the information he was telling me. He frowned. "What's so funny?"
