Final chapter

Normal POV

I watched as Edd stood there with his gun facing Tord.
His hands shook violently, not wanting to do the action of killing his old friend.
I looked towards Tord who held his pistol up proudly with a toothy grin spread across his face.
"So...it's come to this." Edd hesitantly spoke.
"Save your words." Tord states while walking closer to the other.
I can't just stand here...i swore to myself to protect everybody; no matter what side.
"So long...old friend."
The sound of the single gun shot rang through my ears.
I felt the hard ground beneath me along with warmth sinking in the fabric of my uniform.
As to the soldiers on ether end watching the shouting stopped as the showdown came to a twist.
"Y/n...." a whimper came out from Tom who was being held against the ground.

Tords POV

I stared in shock and dropped my gun.
She's always...getting in the way isn't she....
I run over to her but am immediately grabbed by Matt tightly.
Her eyes close as she takes a long sigh.

Edds POV

I watched tord rip out of Matt's grasp and rush over to her.
He lifted her left and while shaking her a little.
"Hey...wake up....p-please..." Tord whimpered.
Her head tilts to the side a little.
"Im not dead yet silly.." she groans out.
He slid a wedding ring on her finger while crying.
"W-Will you m-marry me...my angel...?"
She smiles.
"Of course...after my rest we'll have our wedding..."
"You're r-rest?"
"It'll be a long one..." she wraps her fingers around his.
"Time for my next story to start....."
The grip loosens on Tords hand as nobody speaks.
There's just pure shock.
He grabs her tightly and cries in her shoulder.
I hesitantly take one step forward careful not for any soldiers to start commotion.
I place my gun down showing I'm not here to fight as I stare down at the two of them tearing up.
"M-Mind if I join...?" I could barely speak.
He grabs my collar and yanks me down tightly into a group hug.
Next thing you know Tom is sobbing with us then Matt.
"All she wanted...was the five of us to be together again..." Matt whimpered between his sobs.
"What now sir." Some soldier states from behind him.
"Shut. Up. Soldier." He states.

Normal POV
I stood there shocked as to what I was seeing.
I don't want to leave this book...
I can't leave this book...
This book is my home!
I can't leave!
