Amara's POV:

"Why are we even here?" I whined as Skyla dragged me further into the store to see the dresses 'Mr. Kim' had put aside for her.

"Ummm do you not remember?"

"Was I supposed to remember?"

"The charity event ring any bells?" she questioned while her eyebrows went all over the place.

"But that's like in a month," I said scrunching my nose.

"Yeah, only a month away."

"Whatever," I rolled my eyes.

We finally halted at a rack of glamorous dresses all picked out by Kim Taehyung for Skyla. Skyla immediately skipped toward the rack of clothes going through them.

"Do you have any dresses for me?" I asked the clerk, a little disappointed that I had not gotten a glamorous rack of dresses for myself.

"Yes!" the clerk said almost as if she had been waiting for me to ask.

After about an hour and a half of trying on dresses and picking them out, I had finally settled on three dresses that I'd show to Skyla.

I changed back into my clothes and waddled out of the dressing room to find Skyla. I went towards the back of the store, only to see Skyla in a beautiful dress looking down at herself.

"Do you like it?" she questioned, eager to know if the dress would impress her current boyfriend

"Ummm... I am now lesbian if that answers your question."

"Wait that's good!" she said with a smile appearing on her face. "Okay, I think I'm going to buy this one," she looked to the clerk and nodded her head.

I nodded my head in assurance. "I've laid out three dresses of my own."

Skyla's POV:

I was honestly kinda scared to see what Amara had picked out for herself; her fashion sense has never been the best.

I watched with my mouth hung open as she walked out of the dressing room with a blue dress hugging her body.

"There's this," she said twirling in the dress

"There's this," she said twirling in the dress. She went back into the room.

"And this," she twirled once more and walked back into the room

"Finally, this!" she exclaimed, probably glad that she was completed trying on clothes.

She walked back into the room and found her way out back

She walked back into the room and found her way out back. She was changed back into her clothes. She sat next to me and smiled, "so what do you think? Which one should I wear?"

"I think all of them would look nice on you," I retorted.

"No seriously," she pouted.

"I actually think all of them would look nice on you. If you really doubt me ask Mark," I simply said.

"But I don't want Mark to see the dress beforehand."

"Fine do whatever you want to."

Amara's POV:

"Finally! Home Sweet Home," my brain thought. I ran into my room and fell face- first on to my bed. I slowly started to drift to sleep, when my phone rang.

I groaned, picking up the smartphone.

"Hello?"

"Amara," said a manly voice.

"This is the one and the only. Who am I speaking to?"

"You don't even remember your own brother's voice?" inquired the man.

"Caleb?" I said. My hands slowly started to shake and my voice cracked.

"Hey sweetpea, how are you doing?"

"I was just fine till you called," I retorted. "Why did you call? What do you even want?"

"Oh come on... I just wanted to talk to my famous, rich sister. How much of a slut must you be now? You must enjoy sleeping with all the-"

"Caleb," I said sternly. "What do you want?"

"I just wanted to tell you that you're in trouble. I'd watch my back if I were you."

"And why would I want to believe you?"

"Just be aware Amara."

With that, the phone call had ended. I looked down to the black screen that I held in my petite hands. "If he really didn't care, why did he sound concerned?" I thought to myself. I layed back onto the bed and buried my face into my pillow, letting out a groan. And with that, I drifted to sleep.
