You knew it broke his heart when you would talk about her- and when you could cry and sob over her uncontrollably.

"I miss her a fuck ton." You scream, and your boyfriend tried to comfort you.

"It's okay, babe. I know she's looking down at you from heaven. She loved you, it's not going to change the fact that she died Y/N. Please accept her death, I know how hard it is, and it hurts me to see you like this." He says, kissing you.

"I know it breaks your heart when I cry again, over her." You say, and hold him tightly. "Thank you for always being here for me. I love you, you don't deserve to be put through this shit."

"No, don't ever say that Y/N. I know Billie would've wanted you to tell me everything, and she would've listened and wanted you to let your emotions out instead of bottling them inside. I miss her too, she was always such a good friend and I know she loved you so much." He says, hugging you tighter.

"It feels like when i'm with you, i'm breaking her heart too. It feels like i'm cheating but I know i'm not! I'm sleeping next to you, but I feel like I should be sleeping next to her. Of course I'm still in love with her, but I also love you. I just miss her so damn much- I cant believe it's been a year. I cant ever get the image of her body after the car accident out my head." You sob, and he holds you tightly.

"It hurts to know that you feel sad. I love you, don't doubt that. I will always stay beside your side." He says.

You had just woken up from a dream where Billie came to visit you, and she told you she was watching over you. You wanted so badly for her to come back again- but now you had Jace. You needed to move on, but you knew that you could never love like you did with Billie, but you had to try.

Get through this, get past it. You thanked Billie for showing you how to love, and you always hoped she would visit again, even just in your dreams.
