Spryte Kiatrin

The Spryte are one of the five types of Kiatrin(Rhailonnites)
Unlike the other four subspecies, the Spryte group is critically endangered with only a handful left surviving. I'll tell you why in a few seconds, ok?

Members of the Spryte group are smaller than other Rhailonnians and have distinct translucent, fairy-like wings. Though these wings are mostly for display, they can still be used to "glide". And don't let their fragile look fool you; they're strength is equivalent to that of steel. Their wingspan is always approximately two times their height. They also possess one claw on each foot that is significantly larger than the others (similar to a velociraptor) These were most often used to test the ground for weaknesses/softness and killing prey.

Ok so, the reason that they're so heckin elusive is because of a severe climate change that occurred in certain areas of Rhailonn. Unlike other Kiatrin, members or the Spryte subspecies are sensitive to temperature and cannot survive in any place above 68° Ferenheit (I think I spelled that wrong •-•) for too long. This sudden environmental change forced the ones that did survive to move to areas with a more tropical/mild climate. Most of these places were unaccessible to other Kiatrin.

While most Kiatrin are incredibly social creatures and rely on interaction to stay mentally and emotionally healthy, Spryte Kiatrin tend to be a bit more solitary and are most comfortable in a nice, quiet place.
