Rhailonnian Courtship and reproductive systems (not for younger viewers)

When a Rhailonnian enters a relationship with another Rhailonnian, both completely devote themselves to the others needs and wellbeing.
To court a lady, a man will be tasked with making a gift from scratch; which he will present to whom ever he is proposing to. The gift must be given careful thought and sentimental value (ex. A reminder of the day they mey, a place special to them, etc.) and is created to the best of his ability.
After he is finished with it, he will give it to her somewhere discreet. This step is absolutely NEVER done in front of anyone else. Rhailonnians believe that drawing attention to a marriage request not only takes away from the sentimentality of it, but also risks embarrassment on both sides if she declines his request. No one else is notified of the event nor the outcome until AFTER she has agreed to it. Should she decline, both of them will return home and agree not to tell anyone about the request. This does not affect their friendship.

When looking for a wife, a Rhailonnian will always go to a girl he has known for a long time and truly loves. They value personality over outward appearance in all aspects.

A good mate will have personality traits that balance out the other's traits. For instance, if one mate gets stressed easily, the other should be fully capable of keeping them from panicking too much or becoming impatient with others. They will both work together to make sure that they are happy and healthy.

(Ok so, it's really not that bad but I have to put the warning anyway bc I don't wanna get a bunch of messages asking why I didn't give a heads up)

Rhailonnian reproductive systems are vastly different from human reproductive systems as males don't have genitalia and females don't have boobs. Rather, males have special "glands" located near their collarbones while females' "glands" are located near the top of their back.

Female glands contain the eggs just like a human female's uterus, However; they also have all of the genetic material needed to successfully have kids. They don't actually need to rely on a male's sperm to provide genes. The genetic material is completely dormant until property fertilized by a male. (I'll explain how this works in a moment) The moment this happens, the male's unique heat signature will "program" the genes with the respective genetic traits such as eye color, scale color, etc.

Male reproductive glands don't actually have anything in them aside from the organ itself. This is used to produce a special heat signature that varies from individual to individual. The heat signature activates the dormant genes, which will then adapt to its signature and bond to the now fertile eggs. The heat is drawn from the male's wings via his blood stream. The wings "vibrate" to warm the blood, then send it to the reproductive glands. The only problem with this is that males will get cold easily, so they will generally have to get a blanket or something.

After the eggs have been successfully fertilized, they will be sent to the female's actual egg sack. There it can continue to grow and develop until it is ready to lay. After being laid, both the male and female will spend the next few months incubating the eggs. This is the only time in a Rhailonnian's life that they are capable of producing their own body heat.
In short: They literally have cuddle sex.

Birth control doesn't exist. Literally all a Rhailonnian has to do if they don't want children is put on a shirt.
