I tried to be the one you wanted

But you told me I never changed

Maybe I didn't, I know I tried

I'm sorry it wasn't enough

I'm sorry we are walking different paths

I never meant for it to come to this

Maybe you will find the one meant for you

But I can tell you this one last thing

My heart will always be yours

I wrote this to alleviate some of the feelings I have bottled up inside. I am getting a divorce but it still hurts so very much since he is acting like it is the best thing that ever happened to him, like he never loved me at all.*
