"So, let me get this straight...you want to use two decoy forces to split any of the defense or guarding wolves that are there, and you lead the attacking force, with me leading the decoys?" Ken asked, and I nodded.
"Basically, yeah." he snorted, gazing at me incredulously.
"You do know we have only," he took a second to count everyone, "Fourteen wolves, right? So that would leave us with seven only on each team. That's not enough," he shook his head. I gazed around at all the new wolves, including Ken's mate, Karina, and blond wolf, Shane, Ken's Beta, and white and grey wolf Ker, like Emily, since they were siblings. There was also one I didn't' know, that just joined. I think he’s Ken’s Omega, Tam, or something. He's dark chocolate brown, according to Emily.
"What we really need is a witch, but where can you find one of those these days? They're all but exctinct," Shane said jokingly, but it got me to thinking. a witch, huh? Where can you find one of those?
Suddenly, like the thought was placed there in my mind by another person, I knew just where to look. And even though she hates me, I have to try.
"Emily, I need your necklace, I'll give it back soon," I promised. She smiled and handed me her talisman/pendant which hung from a silver chain from her neck. I put it in my pocket.
I smiled and looked back to Ken, carrying on our previous conversation about wolven numbers. "My parents make sixteen, because they will fight, and Sam's parents will, and Frank has two friends that will. that makes eighteen. But I know a sure way to get more wolves, and I have a feeling I know where to find someone else besides a wolf that would help us," I said, determination leaking from my voice. They all leaned forward. I smiled.
"The school."

I looked around at all the people milling about in the school, and smiled. Half of them didn't know anything, the other half didn't know enough. Sure, there was my pack in the school, but there are a couple strays and outsiders too.
"So, what are we going to do?" Rob asked as we approached a group of teens. I quietly shushed him. I can do this. I drew myself up to my full height, and they glanced at me, looked away, but turned back, wondering what I wanted.
"We need your help." One of the guys frowned.
"Well, the math homework was pretty easy..." he trailed off when I shook my head.
"No, we need your strength. My mate was kidnapped, and we need help to get her back," I said slowly, and they looked like they would bolt any moment. I sighed.
"Stay," I said, filling my voice with the power I knew I had. They froze, eyes wide.
"Wh-what do you want us for? We are just outsiders, rogues. Why would you want us to help?" they pleaded, and I smiled.
"Because we need every strong wolf we can get, and you guys are. Strong, and brave, I know from the way you are at school. You laugh with your other friends, but your ties with each other are very strong. And you're also always there for each other. We don't have enough to go up against the pack that stole my mate, so we are looking for help. Will you join us?" I pleaded, well, almost pleaded. More like begged.
The four guys and two girls thought for a moment. This could make 22, with eleven on each side. we would only need two more. They gazed at us, their eyes glowing molten.
"Yes," they said in unison. "We are a pack ourselves, just the six of us, and we would like to lend our strength to get your mate back," the one guy stepped forward and extended a hand. I shook it firmly.
