When I finished, she was looking at me like I was crazy.

"So, you're saying that some crazy guys from your past hate you so much for something your family did,  that they kidnap your girlfriend to get back at you, and then Sam finds a way to call you, saying that someone that looks like me is with her, and she is in danger?" she summed up, and I nodded, knowing it sounded pitiful. She rolled her eyes.

"Pretty bad story, but I'll go along with it. Okay, so where are we going?" She said cheerfully. I shook my head.

"We are not going anywhere. You are going back home, and my friends and I are going to find Sam." She crossed her arms.

"Oh, no, I'm definitely coming. You got me into this when you showed up at my door. I won't take no for an answer, and I'm even more stubborn than Sam." I chuckled. It's hard to do, but it's true. A thought wiped the smile off my face. Not my thought.

            "Hurry." It was Sam!

I tried to catch her thought, but it drifted out of my reach and slipped away. I growled, punching the seat. So close! Why is it so hard to communicate with her? I looked up and met Penny's eyes, which were wide open.

"What was that for?" She gestured to the seat, where there was now a fist-sized hole. I shrugged.

"I'm getting tired of not being able to do anything about it," I growled, and she nodded.

"Then we will find a way to do something about it now," she promised, lifting my spirits, even though she probably didn't have a thought what to do.

Chapter Twenty Six

I was relaxing on the couch when my wolf made himself known.

"We can't just sit around and do nothing, we have to go look! even if we don't know where to start," He told me, and I rolled my shoulders. I wish I could, but there's nothing I can do. I don't know where to start. He growled.

"You know she's in some sort of warehouse, so go look, for Christ's sake! There's abandoned buildings galore in the city! Do something about it before something bad happens to her!" He roared, and I cringed. He's never been this mad before. Then again, this has never happened to us before. I sighed, remembering all me and Sam had done before, how she found out about me and stayed away for weeks, before accepting me. Accepting us.

And then us finding out that she was a werewolf, too. It was amazing, the journey we had...are having together. I shook my head. It's not like she's dead. My wolf is right. I have to act, do something, before she gets into more danger. She's a beautiful wolf, and she's special, but if they find out what she is, what we both are, now that we are fully mates....I shook my head, not thinking that way.

I took a deep breath and released it, standing up. I'm not sitting here one more minute, until she's here, safe, with me.

"Okay we will." I sent a message to everyone.

"Guys and girls, get into your designated pack attack groups. We are going after her." I walked out the door. I didn't need to say who her was. Here goes nothing. I walked up to Penny and she took one look at my face and stood up, grabbing her coat. I grabbed her arm, making her look at me.

"Stay with me, right beside me, and whatever you do, don't run or freak out at whatever happens." she scoffed.

"Honey, I'm made for this. Whatever crazy thing happens, I'm there, and ready." She smiled and walked out the door. I sighed and followed her. Ready. Right.
