Being the idiot that I am I began chatting to him, partly due to the amount of alcohol sloshing around within me. We spoke about how our lives had been and if we were enjoying ourselves, just as any old friends would. Except we aren't old friends. We began talking and dancing, drinking with a lot of shouting from across the dance floor. Mostly, i completely forgot about the entire thing that had happened with Noah. Why we went out seperate ways in the first place.

My life is a mess. It's like something out of a story.
Meeting the man of my dreams, moving to LA, gaining a crazy fan, cheating...

It doesn't sound like something that could truly happen or seem remotely plausible. Yet somehow out of the 7.7Billion people in there world, it all had to happen to me. I find that this is a common occurrence. The universe pointing its finger and saying "let's pick on her again". Like bullies in a middle school playground asking for your lunch money. A ridiculous perspective yet somehow accurate.

Whilst in a mind of my own the guys had returned with the drinks.Yet, I was no longer tending to our VIP booth. Instead dancing with Noah. Coloured lights and beams of green, purple, red, yellow and blue bouncing off of his perfect face. His smile bright and cheeks rosy from the heat. Mid song I felt a hand snake around my waist.

"I have a boyfriend Noah" I yelled over the music.

NOAH'S POV
I love Ivy obviously and I know she loves Ian. And I'm ok with that. She has what she wants and I'm more than happy about it.

We are dancing, feeling the music. The heat rising from the sweaty bodies of underaged teens and alcohol. I looked over at the booth I found Ivy at. To see Ian and a blonde girl making out. I freaked and pulled Ivy into me, her small body pressed against my chest.

"I have a boyfriend Noah" she yelled into my ear.

I looked at her, she began to turn her head towards the booth where Ian and the mystery girl were still going at it, giggling, hair tossing, hands roaming. I couldn't let her see it, it would break her heart. And I don't want to witness that again. Before the booth was in her sight and swung her round and kissed her soft lips. The music simply blurred while feeling as if nothing else was present at that moment apart from us. The connection and bond we had never broke, just simply faded. To then be revived when the time was right.

She pulled away confused.
A look of heartbreak and defeat on her round face. She let go and walked away. Back through the rowdy crowd. To then be faced with Ian...

I didn't see much. Three odd glass breaking, "oooo" and "damnnn" coming from the crowd situated closest to the booth. Not long afterwards, Ivy came storming past me grabbing my hand as she went. Before I was able to speak she told me to shut up and drive. I only had a few and have a driver anyway. We got into the car and told my driver Lewis to take us back to the hotel.

Surprised by Ivy's sudden appearance, he put his foot down and sped away down the cobbled streets of London. Drunk teens gorging on WKD stumbling on the sidewalks. Kebab shops with lines as long as an entire street. Screams and shouts of drunk joy. The odd prostitute on the corner, sat playfully in a short dress and smudged makeup.

The car journey was quiet, silent. But not an uncomfortable silence. A thing that would never happen with Ivy. We just enjoyed each others company. It was just nice to look over and see someone was there without saying a word. I put my hand on her thigh. Not to be flirtatious but to show my support. Soon after, her small hand lay down on mine and squeezed it. Without a single word.

We arrived at the hotel and walked quietly to the suite I was situated in. It was large and spacious. Extremely modern and clean. Large floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Thames. She slumped down on my bed and just began to cry.

I sat with her, listened to everything she had to say. About how well it was going, the birthday surprise. But it was all a set up so Ian could see his English sidechick. As he didn't want to go to London without taking her due to bad publicity and rumours would then spread to the US if he got caught making the whole thing worse. I held her for a while. Before standing up and ordering room service. We waited a few minutes before there was a knock at the door.
A large drawer came in. Once the draw was in ivy opened it to reveal every type of ice cream she could imagine. With an entire row of her favourite.

"You remembered.. " she whispered pulling me close.

"How could I forget" I smiled she leaned in going on her tippy toes, kissing my lips softly but filled with passion.

How could I forget...
