Should I Send it?

Hey guys!!! I’m Shreya and this is my first fanfic. I love to write and hopefully you guys love this too. <3 :)

Troye pondered whether to send the risky video. He’d put many hours into this one, making sure it was perfect and he sounded good. After all, he was sending it to Tyler, so he had to make sure it was 100%.

Tyler. His name still reminded Troye of the beautiful time they’d had together, the time of rainbows and sunshine, where Troye would get a movie to rent and they’d sit together and cuddle at the romantic parts, cry at the sad parts, and laugh at the funny parts.

Tyler. His name also reminded him of destruction, of crying, of sadness. Of the time that Troye was so close, this close, to saying those three little words I Love You to Tyler, the time that instead he had ended up saying I Hate You. Those three words in his head over and over. When Tyler had said he was sorry, also crying, when Troye had wondered why the hell Tyler would break up with him if he was clearly devastated about his own decision.

And Troye hoped to hell that he’d get over Tyler soon. He’d gone on a few dates here and there in the three months that they had been separated, but nothing serious. And as much as he’d hate to admit it, he’d broken up with all those people for one simple reason: they weren’t Tyler.

And so now Troye was sitting here, about to go to L.A, about to send a risky video to Tyler. A very risky one. It wasn’t nudes or anything like that, don’t worry, but Troye wasn’t really sure how Tyler felt about him. They had talked on tumblr and twitter in these three months, and even texted a little, but it was nothing like the day to day communication they used to have. Troye remembered when they had a set time for their skype calls, and how Tyler’s face would light up as he saw him. Day after day. And he remembered laughing as he saw Tyler, as they teased each other that they hadn’t seen each other in years.

And Troye understood. He understood why Tyler broke up with him. The long distance thing was hard, he knew, and it was hard to only see each other a few times a year. Skyping just wasn’t the same as cuddling.

But Troye though that if people really loved each other, it would work out. He had been led to believe that his entire life, as his parents had such a “cheesy” relationship, like one out of the movies.

And he thought Tyler and him had that something. That special something, whatever it was.

And so as Troye thought about sending this email, he decided that he should. That he should fight for what he wanted. He sat at his desk, on his swivel chair, and sighed. He replayed the video one more time, wrote out the subject, and hit send.

Hope you liked it!! You guys will figure out what the video is in the next chapter! Also follow me on tumblr: likeasweetsweet.tumblr.com.

Have a great day!
