"Believe me, if I meet one more fictional character today, I'm going to faint," Julia said to Cade. "And you better be there to catch me when I do, because I'm not in the mood to sprawl on the ground again."
Cade laughed. "I'll make sure I do," he said as seriously as he could.
Julia playfully shoved him a little. "Well what are we going to do now?" She asked. "We've got free periods all the way until the end of the day, since our teachers aren't here."
Cade grinned. "We should just stay here. What else could we do?" he said, putting emphasis on the "could".
Julia clapped her hands in delight. "I was hoping you would say that!"
Cade started to walk back, "Come on, we'll go back to the Percy Jackson fandom. There's someone I'd like you to meet." He said, his eyes twinkling.
Julia's face lit up, "Just as long they're not fictional, I'll be fine," she joked.
Cade chuckled. "I promise you that they aren't." He said.
They took their time walking back to the Percy Jackson fandom, Julia asking questions and Cade answering them. They soon entered the magical barrier of Camp Half Blood, and Julia immediately felt at home. Cade lead Julia over to the training grounds. Julia took in the smell of fresh grass, and ducked in and out of the shadows of the trees.
"Here Julia," Cade called from her right.
Julia lifted her head towards his voice. She saw him waving for her to go over. He had a girl next to him. She had straight black hair that flowed down the length of her back. It rested just above her hips. Her skin was as pale as snow. It was such a contrast that Julia's eyes had to take a while adjusting to it. But when she turned around, oh when she turned around, Julia saw her beautiful face. A delicate oval with large eyes. They were electrifying blue. It was enough to freeze you right on the spot. Just looking at them made you feel cold and made her seem dangerous. Very dangerous indeed. Her lips were coloured with dark lipstick. Around her neck, there was a silver chain. Julia just stood there, shell shocked, staring at the girl. After a while, she realized that the girl was staring at her, and Julia blushed in embarrassment. She quickly hurried forward towards Cade.
"That took you a while," He said, grinning. "This is my friend Zoe. Zoe, this is the new Multifangirl, Julia."
Zoe waved a little hello with her fingers, her face expressionless. Her fingers were long and slim, her nails painted with black nail polish, and were quite long. Longer than Julia's anyway. Julia nodded at her, trying on a small smile and looked into Zoe's eyes, then felt a shiver of coldness run down her spine.
"Hello," Zoe said, her lips forming into a humourless smile. "I'm Zoe, also a Multifangirl. Which fandoms are you in?" She asked, tilting her head to one side.
"I'm in Divergent, The Fault in Our Stars, The Hunger Games, The Maze Runner, The Selection, The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices, and of course, Percy Jackson." Julia replied, her tone wavering slightly under the gaze of Zoe.
She raised a long, dark, eyebrow. "I'm in The Hunger Games, Divergent, The Mortal Instruments and Infernal Devices, The Coldest Girl in Cold Town, Hush Hush and Percy Jackson." Zoe said, her dark nails tapping against her pale skin.
"Who were you blessed by?" Zoe asked.
As Cade was standing behind Zoe, he held up three fingers and shook his head, whilst using his other hand to make a slitting his throat gesture. Julia was momentarily confused, but she figured out what Cade wanted before Zoe caught her staring.
"I'm a daughter of Poseidon, descendent of Athena, blessed by Ha-" She caught herself, and then said, "By Hephaestus, Apollo and Hecate." Julia smiled weakly at Zoe.
