Gavin stared nervously down at his phone, building up the courage to call the psycho he had met a week earlier. Frustrated with his own nerves, he locked his phone again and put it in his pocket. Once he realized it was Saturday, he decided to go see Conan and ride the hayride again. He pulled out his phone yet again and checked the time. It read 7:15. He rushed up the stairs and grabbed his brown leather jacket and headed out the door.
Gavin shivered as he stepped outside and was instantly greeted with a cold gust of wind. Knowing full well that he would freezes tonight, he got into his car and headed towards the Haunt.
He drove up the winding road leading to the Hunt before finally arriving and working his car. He swiftly exited and stepped into the warm pavilion to purchase his ticket. He was on wagon eight.
After a few minutes waiting, he heard his que to get on: "Wagon eight is now boarding." He climbed the steps and sat right towards the back where all the actors climbed into the Wagon. The rules were explained and the wagon pulled away.
*A few moments earlier*
"What?" Conan asked. "You are Michael Myers tonight. John isn't here and we need one," Joe explained. Conan sighed but agreed, knowing that he was the only one, other than John, who could be Michael. Joe pulled a blonde girl with minor scratches and bruises on her face towards them. "Meet your Laurie for tonight. Grab her, pull her, throw her, chase her, do whatever to her. Dr. Loomis will shoot you and come save her. Got it?" Conan nodded and the girl smiled. She held out her hand for Conan to shake. "I'm Chloe," she beamed. Conan couldn't help but smile. "I'm Conan." The two shook hands, then Conan grabbed his costume and slipped the blue suit on. He grabbed his props, the classic mask and a pipe, and showed Chloe to the Myer's house where their scene would play out.
He showed her around, warning her of the steep stairs and the roots around. He explained where to come out from and that they never did the same thing twice. "And this is Dr. Loomis. Chloe meet...Bill." The two smiled at each other, then Conan left Chloe with Bill for a bit while he went to talk to Jordon.
Suddenly he had to run back to his spot as the siren sounded.
*In the wagon*
Gavin got through all the spots and finally made it to the psych ward. All the psychos were scattered around. He heard he familiar call of "we have new friends!" but not the tune of "ring around the rosy" bing sung in a rock. He looked around at all the psychos and didn't see Conan. The psychos all jumped onto the wagon and did their thing. The wagon pulled towards the house of Michael Myer's.
A girl came running out of the woods screaming for help, breaking the silence and spooking Gavin slightly. She jumped up onto his side of the trailer and banged the boards against the seats, still pleading for help. Suddenly, the tall and looming figure of Michael Myers came out from the woods. He walked towards her and wrapped his arms around her waist. He prayed her off the wagon as she screamed and struggled. "Michael stop!" He heard a voice call. The girl was put down and she ran to the crowd of psychos that has gathered behind the wagon. One grabbed her as she screamed for help.
Gun shots rang out and Michael fell dead, rolling on the ground and he fell lifeless. "Help! Help me please!" The man who shot Michael moments earlier turns at the sound. "Let her go!" He yelled. "No!" The psycho who had a hold of the distressed girl yelled as the other psychos jumped around. "I'll shoot you!" He threatened. "Do it! You won't!" The psycho taunted back as the girl tried to break free of his grip, screaming and struggling. Another gunshot rang out and the psycho fell dead, leaving the girl to run to the safety of the house.
Suddenly, the screams of the girl rang out again as she yelled for the man. "Doctor! Look out!" She cried as Michael Myers rose slowly from the ground and began walking towards the doctor. The doctor swiftly turned around and fired another bullet. Michael fell yet again. The girl slid down the pole supporting the porch and began to cry. Michael quickly shot up again as the wagon began to move. He followed it for a bit before climbing on. He stared Gavin in the face for a bit, then grabbed him by his collar and lifted him out of his seat and off the wagon. Gavin screamed a bit out of terror as he was thrown off. Michael jumped off the wagon after him, then lifted him again. He dragged him towards the house as the girl screamed again and ran into the arms of the doctor. The wagon then rode out of sight.
