Unvexed

They were back inside, arguing with the gods when the lights began to flicker wildly.

"Its him." Ariel gasped, looking at Dean in horror, all the blood draining from her face.

"Shazzam us outta here, wouldya?" Dean asked, changing his mind on seeing Sam, after realizing how scared his sister was, and how it could get her killed.

"We can't." One of the gods, Baldur, told them.

"Of course you can't." Sam's body walked around the corner, already covered in blood. "You didn't say "Mother may I?"" Samifer smirked. "Ariel, Dean, good to see you again."

Both Dean and Ariel seemed to be frozen in their spots, horror easily read on their faces. There stood their brother, towering over them, covered in blood. His stance held a sort of intimidation, and playfulness.

Erin was standing just behind him, only having small sections of blood on herself, aside from her hands. Her hands were covered, like she washed them in blood. It dripped down her slender finger onto the carpet. She held herself proudly, yet refused to meet her families eyes.

Baldur approached Lucifer in confrontation, despite Kali pleading him not to. It only ended with Lucifer shoving Sam's hand into the god's chest, killing him. Lucifer pulled out the heart and tossed it to Erin, who caught it with an amount of grace she never possessed before. "You have my heart." Lucifer chuckled. "Well, I guess it was his." He pointed towards the dead man, now sprawled on the ground.

Erin grinned back, but dropped the heart to the ground. Still avoiding Ariel's betrayed gaze.

Kali tried to fight Lucifer, but she didn't stand a chance.

Gabriel flung the doors open, just as dramatically as he had before. "Luci, I'm home." He ran over to Kali and helped her up, pushing her towards Dean. "Get her out of here!"

He turned towards Ariel and thrust a DVD case into her hands. "Guard this with your life, cupcake." he pushed her towards the door. "Go help your brother."

Dean rushed outside with Kali, but Ariel couldn't find it in herself to move. She stayed and stared at Erin's malicious smirk. Something about her was off, very off. She was proud of what Lucifer was doing, she was his right hand woman. Just as was predicted.

"Lucifer, you're my brother, and I love you. But you are a great big bag of dicks." Gabriel scoffed.

Lucifer became more angry, the more heated the conversation became. Erin seemed to feed off of his anger, almost snarling at Gabriel at certain points.

Gabriel admitted he was on the side of the people, and that seemed to push Lucifer over the edge.

Erin's smirk grew as Lucifer stalked closer to his brother, like she could feel his power growing. She was supporting the death. She wanted to see Gabriel dead as much as Lucifer did.

"Cupcake, you've got to go. Get out of here." He shouted over his shoulder. "Give Cassie a hug for me." He gave her a sad smile, and turned fully back towards Lucifer.

"Brother." Lucifer warned. "Don't make me do this." He stalked up to Gabriel, like a hunter hunting its prey.

"Do it, Luci!" Erin egged him on. The more time she spent with him, the more she could feel herself becoming like him. Like her soul was twisting and becoming demonic.

"Shut up!" Ariel shouted. "You're just his little lap dog!" She went to get closer to Erin, who did the same.

Ariel ended up held back by Gabriel. While Lucifer wrapped an arm around Erin's waist, pulling her in close, a smirk on his face at her behavior.

"This isn't your fight." Gabriel told her. "You've got Cassie to get back to." He pushed Ariel behind him, and turned towards Lucifer, who had his arm around Erin's shoulder now. "No one makes us do anything."

That's when Ariel realized real Gabriel was approaching Lucifer and Erin from behind, while the fake distracted them.

The fake turned towards Ariel. "Get out. Now." He begged. "Stay golden, cupcake."

Ariel sent him a sad look and ran for the door, pausing right before she left. She spun on her heel and faced Erin. "You are never  welcome back."

Ariel got into the Impala just in time to see a bright light shine out of the window of the room they were just in. She looked out the window, sadness filling her gut. They just lost Gabriel, and she was now entirely sure they lost any chance of getting Sam and Erin back. Sam was still inside Lucifer somewhere, just trapped. Erin had to be there somewhere too, right?

Lucifer brought Erin back to his stolen mansion, both silent.

"Did you want to do it?" Erin turned towards him suddenly. "Did you want to kill your brother?"

"I did." Lucifer nodded, obviously not happy with his own response.

"You're changing me." Erin said after a few moments of silence. "The more I'm around you, the more I change, and I don't know how to feel." Ariel's words were echoing in her head.

"You are never welcome back."

She knew she fucked up, but there was something that made her feel even worse than that.

"How?" Lucifer drew his eyebrows together.

"Tonight, when I saw her, all I wanted to do was see her dead."
