After Becky left, it seemed all hell broke loose. Bobby came to them possessed by a demon, with a few demon companions. They were trying to find the Michael sword as well. Bobby ended up stabbed, and they brought him to a hospital before guiltily leaving him, so they could try to get to the Michael sword before the demons.

They pulled the impala up to John's old storage unit, and raced inside. Only to find dead demons sprawled across the floor.

"I see you told the demons where the sword is." Zach called out, as he walked out of the shadows. Two nameless angels behind him as per usual.

"Oh thank god, the angels are here." Dean rolled his eyes.

"My condolences." Zach faked a pout as his eye's met Ariel's. "He sort of deserved it though." He smirked.

At that moment, Ariel didn't feel like wallowing. She snapped and went to charge for Zachariah, only to be quickly grabbed by Dean and held back.

"Ooh, feisty." Zach chuckled, then looked down at his nails. "Anyway, to think those demons could have grabbed the sword anytime they wanted. It was right in front of them." His eyes raised to meet Dean's. He waved his hand and the door slammed shut, causing them all to jump.

"What do you mean?" Sam asked, bringing Erin slightly behind himself, hoping to protect her from whatever was about to happen.

"We don't have anything." Dean told him, and relaxed his grip on Ariel, who stopped struggling.

"It's you, Chucklehead." Zach laughed dryly. "You're the Michael sword." Once Zach had so gracefully informed them that Dean was to be Michael's vessel. He tried going to extreme measures to make Dean agree.

With a wave of his hand, Sam had a fatal gunshot wound, Erin had stage four stomach cancer, and Ariel's lungs were taken away. They all dropped to the floor around Dean, writhing in pain. He began to panic, Zach would only stop if he agreed. They were all very close to death. Dean opened his mouth, when a bright light flashed, causing him to duck away.

Zach's two angels dropped dead, and everyone else was suddenly healed.

Ariel stayed on the ground, gasping for air, when she opened her eyes and saw something she never thought she would again.

Castiel was approaching Dean and Zach. She couldn't hear their conversation, and thought maybe she was hallucinating from lack of oxygen. So, she slowly climbed to her feet, deciding it wasn't a dream after all. As soon as Zach disappeared, she ran towards him tears welling in her eyes. She flung her arms around him, and let the tears fall. "You're alive! You son of a bitch you're alive!" Despite her harsh words, she was elated.

Castiel stiffly looked down at her, not hiding affection being new to him. He wrapped his arms slowly around her, and relished in the feeling. "I'm sorry." He whispered into her hair.

As happy as Dean was for his sister, they had more important things at hand. "Your frat brothers are bigger dicks than I thought."

Castiel gently pulled away from Ariel's hug, but kept her close. "Lucifer is circling his vessel. Once he takes it, hex bags won't be enough to protect you." He walked towards Dean and Sam placing a hand on each of their chests. After he pulled away, they let out a grunt of pain, and bent over slightly. He approached Erin.

"Woah, woah. Close enough Cas. Not in the mood for whatever pain you just gave them. I just had cancer." She backed away with her hands in the air.

"It's for protection." Castiel tilted his head to the side, confused by her reluctance. Before she could react, he flew right behind her, placing his hand on her shoulder.

"For the love of -AH!" She screamed out. "What the hell was that?" She nursed her sides.

Castiel made his way back towards Ariel. "This might hurt a bit." He apologized before doing hers.

Ariel gasped and leaned against Castiel for support. "I second what Erin said. What the HELL was that?"

"An enochian sigil. It'll hide you from every angel in creation. Including Lucifer."

"Did you just brand us?" Dean asked, still trying to rub the sting away.

"No, I carved it into your ribs."

There was a moment of silence, while everyone recuperated from having something carved into their ribs.

"Hey Cas?" Ariel asked quietly, once she stood on her own.

"Yes?"

"Were you really dead?" She felt tears welling again, as the images of him exploding replayed in her mind again.

"Yes. I am sorry about what that most likely put you through." He put a hand awkwardly on her shoulder.

"How are you back?" Dean asked.

Castiel sent Ariel a look of longing, before he disappeared without answering Dean's question.

"You're boyfriend is a weirdo." Erin sighed, leaning into Sam's side.

They went back to the hospital to be met with a very unhappy Bobby.

"Oh come on, Dad. It's not all bad." Erin tried to cheer him up for the hundredth time.

He was wearing a bathrobe, sitting in a wheelchair, and staring out the window. He wasn't speaking to anyone, only stewing over the fact he would never walk again.

Ariel was sitting by the door, constantly checking her phone. Castiel got a phone so he would be able to locate and contact him. It was a little strange talking to an angel over the phone, but she loved it. She talked to him as much as she could, and was teaching him how to text. They were finally able to enter the honeymoon phase of their relationship, that Sam and Erin seemed to be eternally stuck in.

Her phone rang interrupting her thoughts. "Hello?" She answered it, quickly going into the hall. She hated showing off her happy when Bobby was so miserable. "Hey Cas! Oh, we are at St. Martin's Hospital." She answered his question of where they were. " Why? Cas, What are you-" She was cut off by the phone seeming to go dead. "Cas?" She tried again only receiving static. She sighed and hung up the phone. Only to perk up again upon seeing him. "Hey, customary thing to say goodbye when you end a call, featherbutt." She laughed.

Castiel ignored the nickname, as he always does with both her and Dean. "Oh yes. I will keep that in mind for next time." He gave her a small smile and entered Bobby's room.

"Oh hey, Cas. Cellphone, huh? Kind of annoying, especially with all the giggling at all hours of the night." Dean shot a playful glare towards Ariel.

"Enough foreplay." Bobby snapped, turning his wheelchair around. "Get over here and lay your damn hands on me."

Castiel disappointed Bobby by informing him his betrayal cost him his ability to heal. After Bobby turned around, ignoring the world again, Castiel decided to inform everyone of his new plan; to find God.

He left before he said goodbye Ariel, causing her to sigh sadly. He was always on the move.
