Chapter One

Tao's POV

Ah, my first day at Andromeda High coming from my old school. No friends, no enemy's, this is nice. How in hell did I even make it to this school. Frick im already late.. what will they think of me. Great this is a terrible first impression..

I pulled down on the silver door handle, making sure to try and make the least noise possible. "Ah, your here! We were about to mark you absent!" Called out what looks to be the teachers aide. I let out a small sigh of relief, most of the students haven't noticed me until they called me out, luckily taking swift steps led me to the one of the two vacant seats at the middle of the class. I hastily take off my strapped binder and placed it neatly under my desk, hoping no one would mention the drawing my brother did of a forest with his markers placed directly on the cover. Looking around I notice the person to my right side, he looks to be shorter with white and black hair, he's already working on what looks like coding. Before I know it I could hear the teacher writing something on the white board. "Please Push in your seats and join me by the door." She said in a calm manner. Don't tell me we are doing a tour of the school...
"We are checking out the planetarium, please stay quiet other classes are teaching." She said in a hushed voice. Planetarium? Hmm my old school never had anything cool like that, that is unless you call a few couches cool..
Walking down the hall I see a few posters talking about clubs like literature, art, drama, etc. placed neatly in a line with stickers of stars taking over the rest of the board. The halls were painted a beautiful periwinkle with a white trim. The floors of the school were a off-white color, they looked fairly shiny as if they had never been stepped on. How's everything here so perfect looking? My old school constantly looked like a mess, cans and crumpled paper were everywhere.
After a few more minutes of walking we arrived at the planetarium. "We are here!" The teacher called out "please step in and take a seat." She continued. Woah, this is so cool! Hah I guess this is why this schools rated so highly..
The room was huge with black walls and a white ceiling, probably used to project the sky onto. Telescopes were placed all around the edges of the room looking out onto big windows. Wonder if these are used in after school activities..
Once all of us were seated we started. All the lights quickly turned off as the projector shot a photo of the night sky to the dome ceiling. After a few minutes of the teachers instructions we were able to do what we wanted. I like most kids I tried to find a bit of motivation to talk to my peers. Scanning the room I notice the kid from earlier was sitting right next to me playing on his phone. He looks annoyed but if I continue staring I'm going to look like a creep. Ugh I'm the worst at this! Maybe at lunch I can talk to him? Yeah. That works.
