Roman was walking through the woods, towards what was his favorite place to just lay on the grass and stargaze. It helped him get over his creative blocks or just relax during really stressed periods.

That day was not different from any other before then, being one of the most famous actors in the cinema and musical industry wasn't always as fun and easy as everyone made it out to be.

The privacy he had was completely gone, everything he did was on show, the good and the bad, he always had to be perfect in everything he did. Paparazzi were on every corner, trying their best to picture his worst, and although he loved his job and his fans, he did get stressed and anxious from time to time.

Suddenly a loud screech followed by the sound of something heavy falling through the beaches of the tree in front of him interrupted his thoughts, making him jump in surprise and fright.

"What the heckety-heck?!" He exclaimed, stopping abruptly.
He heard shuffling between the bushes, then a small whimper and a soft "Ohw..." that made his princely instinct  kick in violently.

Slowly and carefully, he took a few steps forward, stretching his neck to try and see behind the few bushes near the tree.

Finally he got close enough to see the cause of all of that hustle, and he will never forget what his eyes met: there, sitting on the grass, was a guy probably around his age; his hair were massy, sticking out in every direction and leaves trapped in between his light brown locks, his bright blue eyes were hidden behind a pair of black framed glasses and his lips were banded down in a frown.

But what made the handsome stranger standout the most were bright white wings coming out of his back. They looked so soft and big and even if dirty for the fall, they were beautiful.

Roman stayed still for a few seconds, stunned, before finally noticing the pain on his face and the weird way his wing was banded in.

"Are you okay?" He asked taking a step forward and making his presence known. The guy jumped, eyes wide and frantically trying to get up, folding his wings behind his back, immediately stopping and hissing at the pain he felt shooting through his wing.

"Hey, hey calm down it's okay! I won't hurt you!" Roman said quickly, waving his hands around a little.

The guy stopped, looking at him unsure for a second, before smiling at him and sitting back down slowly.

"Sorry," he said giggling awkwardly, "I've never talked to a human without them freaking out about my wings." He moved them slightly as to prove a point, before carefully folding the left one and putting the right injured one in his lap.

"I have to admit I am surprised. Actually, I've been trying to understand if I'm dreaming or not." Roman said chuckling a little himself, before pointing at the guys wing: "Is your wing okay...uhm..."

"Patton, and, uhm, I don't know, it really hurts though..." he answered frowning slightly.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Roman! I don't know much about wings but I'm afraid yours might be broken." He said going to sit next to the guy. There was a moment of silence as the angel's eyes filled with tears at the thought of not being able to go back home, before an idea popped into Roman's head.

"Maybe I could help you...?" He offered, a small smile on his lips and hope in his eyes, his stress long forgotten. Patton giggles cutely, drying his eyes.

"How? You said you don't know anything about wings! Are you just going to try and wing it?" He joked, gently elbowing the prince like persona on the arm. The man chuckled.

"You're really cute, Patton." He said smiling, making the angel's cheeks tint red, "Also, you're right, I don't know anything about wings, but my best friend does, he'll be able to help you." He continued happily, turning towards his new friend.
