"Hi baby" I squeal as Josh carries Noah back towards me. The nurse had taken him for a fast little check up and to clean him up a little and Josh obviously went with. I got the opportunity to take a much needed nap even though I'm still tired, I'm thrilled that my baby is back.

"How was he?" I ask as Josh places him in my arms. "He loved it" Josh chuckles taking a seat on the edge of the hospital bed. I smile and gaze at Noah, "Look at you all cleaned up" I gush brushing his tiny little chubby cheek with my finger.

"He didn't cry?" I ask looking back up at Josh "At first he was a little startled but then it was like he was in heaven" I stifle a laugh and shake my head in amusement. "He's so awake" I point out looking at Noah open his eyes and look around, "Look at you seeing the world" I smile catching his attention. "Hi" I whispers looking at his grey eyes, apparently they'll change colour as he grows and I'm curious as to see if he gets my bright blue ones or Josh's darker ones.

"Do you mind if I take a shower?" I question, Josh shakes his head vigoursly "Not at all baby, I got him you go take a shower" he insists making me smile.

"I'll be right back pumpkin" I say in that annoying baby voice before kissing his cheek ever so gently. Josh takes him from my arms and places him in his little bed before coming over to me and helping me up. I'm still quite sore from the whole birthing process and it kind of hurts to moves around and walk but it's nothing too bad so I'll live.

I pad to the bathroom and take the stupid hospital gown off. I start the water and wait for it to warm up, I take the minute to glance at myself and I'm shocked to find what I'm looking at. I look nothing like how I used to be. I still have quite the stomach, but that's mostly pregnancy bulge, so I'm not going to worry too much about it yet. To sum up my body is fucked up right now, but I just had a child so I could careless.

I get in the shower and instantly get relaxed by the warm water running down my body. "Maya, Noah's hungry" Josh calls making me sigh. "I'll be out in a sec" I shout back quickly finishing my shower.

I wrap a towel around myself and open the bathroom door, realising that I didn't take any clothes with me in the bathroom. As soon as I open the door the sound of Noah crying is instantly heard. "It's okay mommy's coming" Josh assures him bouncing around the small room we're in.

"Let me put some clothes on" I say rushing over to our suitcase. I pull out a fresh pair of panties, yoga pants and one of Josh's shirt and quickly slip them on. "Okay" I sigh getting back in my bed, Josh brings me a fussy Noah, gently putting him in my arms and I lift my shirt before Noah quickly latches on and starts feeding. The room goes silent and I close my eyes content that I don't have to hear him scream.

"That's better isn't it" I ask looking down at him lovingly, I glance up and find Josh staring at me. "What?" I ask furrowing my brows, "I love seeing you as a mother" he admits making me blush. He walks towards me and takes a seat next to me, since I'm quite small I take half of the space of the bed, leaving just about enough room for Josh.

"We're going home today as well" he reminds me, "My mom's coming to pick us up with the car seat and she has some food ready for us as well" he admits making me smile. "Thank God, I'm starting to get hungry".

"I still have some cookies" he smirks as I roll my eyes. Last night Amy brought us some more food along with a few snacks. "I want real food, not a snack" I point out.

Noah whimpers immediately catching my attention, I position him better and help him to latch back on and within seconds he's happy again. "We'll be home soon so you don't have to worry about being hungry" he assure me, leaning forwards to kiss my cheek.

"Anyways how are you doing?" He asks curiously leaning back, "You doing okay after all that?" He adds. I take a deep breath and nod, "I guess" I shrug "I feel fine, I'm just a little sore, my body needs to get itself back together but looking down at this little blessing in my arms makes it all worth it" I explain as I feel Josh play with my hair.
