My Little Blessing

Chapter 31: I'm back!

"Josh let him breathe" I laugh watching Josh continuously blow raspberries on Noah's bare stomach causing my son to laugh and scream as his little face turns red. Josh pulls away and looks down at his son in pure amusement, "I'm gonna eat you" Josh growls holding onto Noah's hands and holding him over his head as Josh leans down to playfully bite him, leaving a few kisses as well. I laugh seeing Noah scream and kick his little feet, "You're gonna kill my poor son" I giggle as Josh kisses his little chubby cheek repeatedly. 

"Its funny" Josh chuckles pulling away to quickly glance at me, "I mean I've never seen him smile this much" Josh says with a bright smile looking back down at Noah. "Raspberries are your weakness huh?" Josh blows a raspberry in front of Pumpkin catching his attention, Josh keeps on going and Noah starts babbling along with him. 

It's been two days since Noah officially turned six months old and as sad as I was that he's officially half way through of being almost a year old, I couldn't help but notice how much active he's been. He's just a freaking ball of energy, always yelling and talking, he loves playing with his toys and he started being more aware of things around him. He also started pushing himself up when he does his tummy time and I'm curious to see how fast he'll be able to learn how to crawl.

A gasp falls from my lips when Noah blows a raspberry of his own and I stare down at him in shock. "Oh my gosh" Josh laughs turning to look at me, "Did you see that?" He asks looking back down at Noah in disbelief.

"I did" I nod still staring at my son in shock "Make him to it again" I insists. Josh does the action again and Pumpkin doesn't waste a minute before he's copying his father whilst also successfully drooling.

"Okay no" I shake my head "As cute as it is he's learning things way to fast" I pout crossing my arms over my chest. Josh picks up Noah and uses his blanket to wipe his mouth dry, "He's just a little smarty pants" Josh gushes tickling his son. "Just like his daddy" he adds making me roll my eyes playfully, "Mhm, just like his daddy" I reply in a teasing voice causing my boyfriend to chuckle.

"You jealous?" He asks playfully, his eyes tinkling with amusement, "No" I scoff "I'm sad" I argue "I don't want my baby to grow up so fast" his face softens and he reaches out to caress my cheek, "We can't keep him a baby forever sweetheart, we have to let him do things at his own pace, let him explore and learn" I sigh and nod moving my gaze to our son, our blue eyes lock and I smile.

"You're right" I agree "I'm so proud of him" I say happily as I lean down to kiss him, "But you're forever gonna be my baby boy" I gush leaving a kiss on his cheek before pulling away.

"Anyways I gotta get ready before Cory comes" I sigh climbing out of our bed and heading towards our closet. "And you should start heading out it's almost 9 already" I point out glancing at my clothes as I try to decide what to wear. "Are you gonna take Pumpkin with you or are you leaving him here with me?" I ask curiously as I pull out a pair of grey sweatpants and a black long sleeve shirt. Perks of being homeschooled I get to wear comfy clothes without worrying about looking good.

"I think I'll bring him with me" he answers as I come out of the closet, "See if he gets used to the car seat, plus he'll keep me company" he adds with a shrug as I nod in understanding and make my way towards our bathroom to quickly slip on my clothes for the day. I also take the time to run a brush through my hair before throwing it into a bun and washing my face and teeth, finishing my morning routine. 

When I'm done I walk out of the bathroom, seeing that Josh probably went to get Noah dressed since he isn't in our bedroom anymore. I grab my school bag and head downstairs, I place my bag onto the dinning table and start setting up my things so I'm ready to go as soon as Cory comes and we don't have to waste time. I was lucky enough to have him drive back and forth when he had no classes to come help me with my work.
