These few weeks have gone by so fast that it's crazy to think we're already in October and Pumpkin is three months old! It felt like he turned two months old just yesterday.
Things have been a little difficult, Josh and I worked out a schedule that eases our day but it took us a while to get used to it and make sure it really worked. Each day is a little of the same, we wake up, have breakfast, get ready, Josh goes to work and I start my school work online. I take a few breaks in between and play with Noah before putting him down for his naps. Josh comes home from lunch, we eat together he plays with Noah and I take a quick nap. He goes back to work, Cory comes and helps me with my work and if Amy is around or not she hangs out with Noah. Eventually I finish my work, Cory goes back home, Josh is back from work and we both have dinner, shower and spend time with Noah together.
On weekends, I work a little more on my school work and Josh is there to help with both the baby and my homework.
Today's a casual Sunday and I'm being extremely productive by cleaning our bedroom, Noah's room and treating myself to a nice bath making sure to take care of my body.
"I never thought we'd be cleaning this many clothes for a baby who does nothing" Josh admits bringing me a fresh load of clean baby clothes. I chuckle and roll my eyes, "He gets dirty easily" I shrug as he starts helping me put away his clothes whilst Noah is busy staring at a balloon I tied on his leg.
I read that you could keep a baby entertained by getting a helium balloon and tying it on your baby's leg so the balloon is floating on top of them. Noah absolutely loves it and gets so concentrated in it that's it's a perfect distraction.
If you should know one thing about my son, it's that he's a clingy baby. He loves being in someone's arms, preferably mine or Josh's with other people he doesn't like being with them for so long. He adores getting snuggled, everytime he's on mine or Josh's chest he places his head in the crock of my neck and falls asleep, it's the cutest thing ever.
"Could we go to Babies'R'Us after my bath?" I question looking up at my boyfriend hopefully. "Sure" he shrugs "What do you wanna get?" He asks curiously.
"A breast pump" I answer taking my boyfriend by surprise and making him drop a onesie from shock. I laugh and shake my head in amusement, "Why are you so shocked?" I ask looking at him. "I-I just didn't expect that answer" he admits making me chuckle.
"What did you think I was going to say?" I question as I furrow my brows. "I don't know, new clothes for Pumpkin, a toy?" He lists.
"Well if you want I can get that as well" he chuckles and shakes his head "I think he has enough clothes" Josh says pointing to the large bag of outfits we're putting away. "And for toys, he seems pretty happy with a balloon" I glance at Noah and find him kicking his feet which causes the balloon to move in the air and making his eyes widen. I stifle a laugh and continue folding his clothes.
"Why the breast thing?" He asks making me look at him. "It's a breast pump and it's because my boobs are killing me" I admit. "I have way too much milk and no matter how much Pumpkin eats it's like they're always full" I explain.
"And plus I wanna see if he can eat with a bottle, that way you or you're mom can feed him when I can't" I add making him nod.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Josh asks worriedly as I add bubbles to my bath. "Josh how is this not a good idea? You're there so nothing can go wrong" I assure him quickly leaning up to give him a kiss.
I had suggested to have a bath with Noah and for some reason Josh didn't seem to really like the idea, I had to assure him multiple of times that nothing could go wrong and that he could even stay with us if he wanted. When Noah takes a bath he gets really excited and loves kicking his feet and splashing water around. It results in me always getting wet but I think Josh is worried that he'll somehow slip out of my arms and fall completely in the water.
