BODY: Kong's greatest weapon is his size. At 30 feet (9 m) tall, the gorilla destroys a village also scale the Empire State Building.
HANDS: Massive hands are capable of flinging a train from its tracks as if it were a toy, yet Kong can also hold a woman gently in his grasp without crushing her.
ARMS: Brawny arms carry Kong through treetops and give him enough strength too hurl huts through the air and beat a man to death with an uprooted tree.
MOUTH: Any human that stands in Kong's way is bitten in half by his large mouth containing sharp teeth.

A movie crew departs on a secret expedition to the Island of Skull Mountain, planning to film the ancient, monstrous, wonder that lives there. The director hires a beautiful, starving actress named Ann, promising her money, adventure, and fame. When the crew reach the island, they witness a hostile tribe worshiping their jungle god, King Kong. A beautiful woman is sacrificed to the huge gorilla, as the tribe drums and chants. Ann is kidnapped and offered as a sacrifice to Kong. Tied to pillars high atop an altar, Ann can only scream helplessly at the sight of Kong. The gorilla beats his chest, bears his teeth, and snarls at Ann.

King Kong picks Ann up in one mighty paw and carries her off into the depths of the jungle. Numerous prehistoric creatures live within the jungle swamps of the island. Kong battles several dinosaurs to prevent them from eating Ann. The movie crew rescues Ann from Kong as the ape battles a flying pterosaur. Using a gas bomb, the crew captures Kong and transports him back to New York City, where he is put on display. Kong is chained onstage in a Broadway theater so the paying public can gawk at the "Eighth Wonder of the World."

-Photographer's flashbulbs startle the chained giant, and Kong breaks his chains and escapes into the streets of New York. He destroys an elevated train before he carries Ann to the top of the Empire State Building. Airplanes open fire at Kong, and while he is able to knock one from the the sky, the bullets are eventually too much for the ferocious Kong. The colossal beast falls to the street below, plummeting 102 stories to his death.

-The original 1933 version of King Kong was so popular that a sequel entitled Son of Kong was released the same year.
