Count Dracula, the most famous vampire in history, must drink human blood in order to survive. If he does not drink blood regularly, he will age rapidly. Although hundreds of years old, Dracula maintains the look of a wealthy middle-aged nobleman thanks to his diet of blood. Elisabeta is the love of his life, and when she dies, Dracula rejects God and curses the living. The count uses black magic to rise from the grave as a vampire. The only companions in his grim, remote castle are his three undead vampire brides. Dracula decides it is time to expand his territory and he hires a real estate agent.

Dracula sets sail for London, taking with him coffins containing his native soil. The vampire discovers that Mina, the fiancee of his real estate agent, resembles his long-dead love Elisabeta. Dracula appears in Mina's bedroom at night. He plans to transform her into a vampire with his bite and by feeding her his own blood. Once she is a vampire, Mina will be doomed to drink blood or die. Before she can be fully transformed, Dracula is hunted down. His throat is slashed and he is stabbed through the heart with a knife.

DID YOU KNOW?
When Dracula is killed, the bite marks on Mina's neck disappear and she is free of the vampire's curse.

The preferred method of killing a vampire is to drive a wooden stake through its heart and decapitate it to prevent it from returning to life.

A creature of the night, Dracula is less powerful during the hours of daylight. His otherworldly nature means that the vampire does not cast a shadow and mirrors do not show his reflection.

Bram Stoker, the author of Dracula, was a sickly child. He was bedridden for the first seven years of his life. His mother told him horror stories to entertain him. When he was finally well enough to leave the house, his playground was the local graveyard.
