HALBERD: Sauron swings a halberd, a pike with a double-bladed ax, against his enemies on horseback in battle.
HANDS: His hands burn like fire to the touch.

BODY: Sauron is a shape-shifter, who appears as a handsome man, a werewolf, a dark shadow, or a black knight. Though not a giant, Sauron does stand taller than most men.
SWORD: A talented ironsmith, Sauron carries a sword he forged himself.
ARMOR: On the battlefield, Sauron wears a suit of plate armor spiked with demonic horns.

Sauron is a dark lord with the ability to change his appearance at will. He can take the shape of a handsome man or change into a werewolf or dark shadow. Sauron's servants are werewolves and vampires. He wages war against the Elves, and when he conquers their island, he turns it into the Isle of Werewolves. After Sauron's evil master is defeated during the War of Wrath, Sauron goes into hiding for about 1,000 years. He reappears in the form of an attractive man and seems to have changed his ways, but his true plan is to seize power over all men. He convinces the Elves to forge the nine Rings of Power, which give incredible power to their owners.

Sauron secretly forges the One Ring, which controls the other nine rings. He erects the Dark Tower, Barad-dur, and becomes known as the Dark Lord of Mordor. His body is struck down in battle and the finger with the One Ring is cut off. Even when his body is destroyed, his spirit lives on as an enormous yellow eye ringed with fire. The unblinking lidless eye hangs over Barad-dur. Sauron's power is destroyed with the destruction of the One Ring in the fires of Mount Doom.

DID YOU KNOW?
Lord Sauron can live only ass long as the One Ring exists because he has invested so much of his own power in the ring. When the One Ring is destroyed, Sauron's spirit rises as a black cloud, but a west wind blows the evil cloud away and Barad-dur is destroyed.

Sauron controls all of the Orcs in Middle-Earth. He breeds Orcs to use as soldiers and servants.

The nine Rings of Power are given to human kings who fall under the power of Sauron and his One Ring. The kings are transformed into the Nazgul.

The only way to destroy the One Ring is to throw it into the fires of Mount Doom, where Sauron originally forged it.
