Adam pulled me up and rushed me over to the sink and started to help me wash the blood off. It wasn't as bad as he thought in my opinion. I couldn't even feel it. He started pulling them out, one by one. Suddenly it started to hurt. I had a high tolerance for pain though so it was fine honestly. Soon everything was out and we wrapped my arm in bandages.
Jackson was pacing back and forth rubbing his head. I understand why he feels this way, but that gives him no right at all to act like this. Adam stood next to me wondering what to do. I watched as Jackson took a deep breath in, then out. He glanced over at Adam and walked out of the house. We both let out a sigh of relief and Adam walked carefully over to the shattered glass and started cleaning it up. I followed, as I kneeled down Adam held his arm out in front of me.
"You're not touching that I don't want you getting hurt. Go check on Julia."
I nodded and walked down the hall."Hey Julia." I said awkwardly walking in the room and closing the door behind me.
"Hey T. Is Jackson s-still out there?"
"No he isn't. Are you okay?" I asked sitting next to her on the unmade bed.
"I will be, it's just a little hard. I'm trying my best Tatiana, I hope you know that. I never meant for any of this to happen. But, I want things to be different now. I'm ready to change and ready to grow and evolve. I'm ready."
I smiled and grabbed her hand. "I'm glad." She looked down after the touch of the bandage grazed her hand. She looked up in confusion.
"Did he do that to you?" She asked.
"I'm fine. It's okay." I said. She responded with an I told you so look my dad gave me after I was proved wrong. We talked for a few minutes and eventually I left the room, she was getting changed to go for a swim to relax and get her mind off things. When I walked back into the kitchen, Adam was throwing the glass away. The table was already cleared and the counters clean.
"Where do you think he went?" I asked looking around.
"Probably to Carson's house to get high."
I nodded and bit my inner cheek.I walked out of the house and onto the porch. I sat down on the small wooden swing and let out a deep sigh. Soon after Adam came out, like I knew he would. He sat next to me and looked out into the dark street. It was very quiet, yet peaceful. A few moments later I felt my hand touch Adams. He moved closer and our fingers interlaced. His hand fit so perfectly in mine. I looked toward him, he was still looking away. I ran my thumb across his face and he turned his head. He smiled softly as I started to move closer to him. We both leaned in and smiled before sharing a kiss. His lips were so soft and warm. They felt so good on mine. I felt him smile in between our kisses and it made my heart warm. Maybe he was all I ever wanted, maybe he's what I needed. We eventually pulled away from each other, our lips aching for more. For once everything seemed perfect.
"Do you smell that?"
