The Way Things Go Pt.2

"Hold on Roc" I say, calling Danny. I waited after a few rings before he picked up. "Hey Danny is it ok if Daniel go out with his friends?" I asked. "No he need to give it a rest. Keep him occupied. You know busy? He can't hang with them today" Danny says.

"Okay bye" I say hanging up, back on the phone with Roc. "Can I call you later Roc?" I asked. "Why can't I just talk to you without you saying you gotta do this or Oh wait! I gotta do that!" Roc mocked me.

"What'd he say" Daniel interrupted. "He said you can't hang with them and I have to keep you busy" I told him. "Wait.. What? He didn't" Daniel said in denial. "Yep he did" I say confirming the truth with a smile. "You better take that smile off your face before I beat you again" Daniel threatened. I quickly remove that smile off my face. Inside, getting scared. Knowing he'd beat me again.

"No you're not leave her alone!" Jamie stood up for me. I felt embarrass. Going through this on the phone with Roc. I didn't want Roc or the others to find out about Daniel and them.. I wanted to hang up but I felt as if my hands were frozen.

"Jamie shut up! She was my girlfriend and I'm getting her back. Right Brianna?" Daniel asked a smirk now placed on his face. "Roc I'll call you back.." I mumbled. "No wait. What is he talking about?" Roc asked, curious.

"Nothing but 143 bye!!" I say now having the courage, hanging up. "And who was that?" asked an Curious Daniel stepping closer to me. "My boyfriend" I deadpanned. "Your boyfriend?" Daniel scoffed. "Yes. I've been wanting to tell you but you can't keep your hands off me. I just wanna be friends Daniel" I mumbled looking down, holding onto my arm.

"Friends? But I like you more than a friend" Daniel looked down with slight hurt shown over him. "I promise you'll find the right one, one day Daniel" I say placing a hand on his shoulder. "Yeah whatever you say Bri" Was Daniel's last words before slapping my hand off his shoulder, walking out.

I'm surprised he didn't hit me or anything. I sighed remembering that roc was listening to our conversation. "What am I gonna tell Roc now?" I murmured. It's quite obvious were dating now. Jamie sniffed, breaking me out my thoughts. "Brianna are you okay?" she asked. "Yeah I guess" I replied scratching my forehead.

**Roc's POV**

"I can't believe she hanged up in my face... But why is she acting... Weird?" I asked myself. "What you mean?" Ray asked. "She was talking to me for a sec then a boy in the background was talking about beating her again and talking about getting her back because she was his girlfriend" I sighed running my fingers through my short curls. "I don't know what's going on man" I mumbled looking down before thinking of a flash back.

"I think she lied to me.. We gonna have to talk.." I say out loud. "What you mean she lied to you? And besides if she did. You deserved it. I guess. LOL" Ray laughed. "No that's not it.. no ray its not that.." I say, having that flash back again.

"Roc snap out of it man!" Ray yelled, bringing me out of that flash back. "Yeah what?" I asked. "I though I lost you for a sec" Ray says with a smile. "Nah I'm aight.." I trailed off.

**End Of Roc's POV**

"Brianna are you sure you're okay?" Jamie asked, worried. "Mhm. You hungry?" I asked. "Yep!" she grinned. "How about some chocolate chips cookies with milk and barbecue chips with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. How does that sound?" I asked.

When I say this little girl face lit up and her eyes was wide! Boy i tell ya. Her eyes was as if they were gonna pop outta her sockets, and this girl was smiling soo hard it look as if the ends of her smiles would split any moment.

"I like it!" she smiled even more if possible. "Ok" I say. Before walking out of Jamie's room walking to Daniel's to ask if he wanted the same. "He's not here? Omg really Daniel?" I say to no on in particular but me. He probably snuck out to go hang out with Ken and them.

I looked around his room and saw a journal sitting on his desk. Me, being my nosy self went to read it. What I read was disturbing for me. Which I bet you're wonder what it says. Well it says:

I will get Brianna back. Even by force. She's mine. I'll kill her if she doesn't want me. No one can have her! And I mean No One!! If I can't have her. No one will.

Disturbing right? And that was only page one. "Omg he's that obsessive?" I mumbled to myself. I heard footsteps and I quickly closed the book, moving away from the journal. "What are you doing Bri? In my room?" he asked, with an raised eyebrow. I got nervous biting my bottom lip.

"I thought you were in here so I came to-" he cut me off. "If I wanted chocolate chip cookies with milk, a peanut butter jelly sandwich with chips? No need to worry I made it for all of us" he says. "Oh thanks.." I murmured, walking towards the door, only for him to grab me by my arm.

I looked up at him.. Yeah.. He's like 7 inches taller than me. I'm a shorty. (:-:) he licked his lips. "You gotta nice ass" he complimented smacking my butt. I flinched, feeling quite embarrass. My body got over heated from how uncomfortable I felt.

"I'm gonna go get Jamie to eat..." I mumbled, using that excuse to get away. I yanked away from him walking out his room. "Hmph, such a tease" I heard him say as I was walking down the hall. I entered Jamie's room.

"Hey Mimi come eat"

"You fixed it that fast?" she squealed, with an shocked expression. I giggled. "No you're brother fixed it came down and eat" I say leaving out, followed by Jamie. We both sat down at the table, which Daniel was already there.

"Hey girls" Daniel greeted. "Hey Daniel" Jamie cheesed. I stayed silent, eating my chocolate cookies. I looked up at him, seeing him cracking his knuckles giving me a death glare. "So you ignoring me now?" he asked in a harsh tone. Fear over came me, I was scared right now.

"N-No.." I mumbled, looking down. "Well eat" he ordered, eating himself. I did what he said cuz' I didn't feel like getting beat again. "Brianna my cold seem to be going a-a.. ACHOO!" she sneezed loudly. I giggled. "No excuses you still have to take you medicine" I say.

She pouted. "It's nasty" she whined. I giggled. After a while we finished our snack. Jamie said she got a headache so she went to take a nap. "So Bri what you been up to lately?" Daniel asked. We were now in the living room.

"Nothing you know just hanging out with my friends.." I replied. "Is that so? Why you never came by to see me?" He asked, in a seductive tone, rubbing his hands up my thighs. I pushed his hand of scooting down the couch.

"Because I've been trying to get away from you and live my life the way I want to live it and not see you anymore Daniel!" I yell, accidently going off on him. I know I done it now.. When I said that he punched me hard across my cheek.

"Well to bad cuz I want you, so live with it" he said. I hold my cheek, the tears were beginning to form in my eyes. "Why?.. Why?! I don't you anymore!" I yelled, again. This time he grabbed me by my hair, throwing me onto the ground kicking my in my stomach.

I yelped out loud, gasping for air. "YOU DO LOVE ME! I KNOW YOU DO!" he yelled. I look up at him and saw tears were in his eyes also. I cried holding my stomach. "I-I'm sorry I just don't love you" I say.

"Fine then" he said before beating me all over. If I was right it felt like he beater me for 4 hours straight. Someone came in seeing the scene.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!"
