Blank Pt. 2

Hoseok eventually leaves the room with Jess behind him, staring blankly at nothing in particular. The royals all stand up, waiting for a response, then they can hear the pained cries from king Jung, knowing the queen has passed.

The ground starts shaking and everyone starts looking around. "What's happening?" King Jeon asks holding his pregnant wife. The princes all look at each other. Hoseok's irises are green as he looks off into the distance. The ground starts shaking more violently, while more tears roll down Hoseok's face. "We have to stop him before he does any damage. Jess, hold'm. Jungkook, make'm sleep." Namjoon says trying not to fall, bracing himself against the hallway railing.

Jess somehow catches Namjoon's command, through all the noise and goes to hug Hoseok from behind, making his eyes blow wide. The earthquake becomes more intense, before Jungkook runs past Hoseok to stand in front of him. With a nod from Jess, Jungkook puts his hands on Hoseok's shoulders and looks into his blank, green eyes. "Go. To. Sleep." Jungkook says in a low, dominant voice, his eyes flashing pink. Hoseok grins, shaking his head.

Jungkook looks past Hoseok at Namjoon, worry in his eyes. Namjoon gestures for him to try again. "Go! To! Sleep!" Jungkook shouts in a deeper, more domineering voice, almost growling, his eyes blow bright pink. The earthquake stops, the dark brown color floods back into his irises and Hoseok's body drops, falling back onto Jess.

"Hobi hyung is gonna be so mad at me." Jungkook says nervously. Jess hums looking up at the youngest prince, blushing. "Oh my gosh. I'm sorry! Lemme help." Jungkook says before gently pulling Hoseok off Jess. The king's all make sure their wives and infants are calm. After a few minutes the queen's door opens, Dawon and Regan emerge, before king Jung.

"The burial will be in the morning. Thank you all for being here. Goodnight." King Jung says before walking away from everyone, down the hall, not sparing Hoseok a glance. "Whoa. Hoseok is scary when he's mad." Jihyun whispers. Jimin is crying into Taehyung's chest while being shushed and hugged tightly. Yoongi picks up Namjoon in his cat form. "When did you change Joonie hyung? Don't worry, I got you." Yoongi says into the fur on Namjoon's head.

"What about the baby?" Jin asks. Dawon sniffles, trying to form words. "We can all pump some milk. If that's ok?" Queen Park says with a sad smile. Dawon smiles sadly and nods. "Girl." Dawon manages to choke out. "Oh my! Another little princess?" Queen Jeon chirps. "Fraternal twins." Dawon whispers letting another tear roll down her cheek, smiling. King Regan rubs Dawon's back gently.

"What! Queen Jung had twins?" Queen Min says before she starts crying again. "We'll take care of them until they can take a bottle." Queen Kim says with a nod. "Two little princesses." Jin says with a sad smile. Everyone starts crying again. "Jin hyung. Can you please help us with Hobi hyung?" Jungkook asks pulling a sleeping Hoseok. Jess' eyes are focused on the floor.

Jin eyes Jess, but takes Hoseok from Jungkook's back, carefully placing one arm behind his knees and the other across his back. "Jess. Please come with me and open Hobi hyung's room for me." Jin says with a smile.

Waking down one of the many halls of the Jung residence Jin looked at Jess every once in a while. "So." Jin says looking anywhere, but at Jess. "Yes prince Jin?" Jess asks looking over at the prince. Jin laughs nervously. "Did you hear about the restaurant on the moon?" Jin asks. Jess hums in response. "Great food, no atmosphere." Jin says before laughing, the sound of a windshield wipers fill the hall. "We're almost there." Jess says. "Jess." Jin says. "Yes?" Jess asks looking at the prince again. "What's wrong?" Jin asks. Jess stops, looking down. "Talk to me." Jin says pout. "Prince Jin. I'm afraid I won't be able to comfort prince Hoseok." Jess says looking up at the prince. Jin bites his lip.

"Do you remember when the war started?" Jin asks watching Jess unlock Hoseok's door. "Yes." Jess whispers, opening the door and sliding the key back in her apron pocket. "And I was scared, because I was the youngest royal there and because I hadn't even been able to finish the military training. Joonie hyung, Hobi hyung and Yoongi hyung were all better at control and felt like I was losing it." Jin says laying Hoseok on his bed. "I remember." Jess says, smiling at the memory.

"You comforted me then. You told me that it was something that I needed to do, because it not only was my duty as a prince, but also as citizen." Jin says looking at Jess. "I remember." Jess says brushing the hair away from Hoseok's eyes. "You can comfort Hobi hyung. You aren't the highest ranking knight and a general, because you don't know what to do in a stressful situation. You have to be strong for him." Jin says with a smile before leaving.
