The Ring Pt. 2

Namjoon, Yoongi and Jin all walk down a long hallway, knocking and checking in rooms they pass. "Is- is that allowed?" Jin asks, his ears are pink with a blush. "What?" Yoongi asks looking over at Jin. "Uh. A prince and a maid." Jin whispers, his neck now slowly becoming pink with blush. "I'll have to check some things. We've known about the uh.. intricacies of their relationship for a while, but this is a huge step for them." Namjoon says with a tilt of his head.

"Intricacies?" Jin whispers looking over at his older brother. "Hobi has never seen her as a maid." Namjoon says putting his hands in his trouser pockets. "Even when she was whoppin his butt in training. He didn't see her as just some other knight." Yoongi says with a grin. "Wait. What? That long? I just realized it recently." Jin says with a pout.

"Remember when he told us what happened after 'rain', Joon. That's when I knew." Yoongi says with a nod. "What? What happened?" Jin asks tilting his head. "You weren't there cause, we pulled you from the frontline after you went blank. Hobi kept bringing her back. She took several arrows for him and kept slowly bleeding out. So he kept bringing her back." Namjoon says before knocking on a door and looking inside.

"When he uses his gift, he shares the person's pain. That's why he has to rest after he's used it. Hobi can heal his own wounds with sunlight." Yoongi says, stopping in the middle of the hallway. "Wow. I knew Hobi hyung liked her, but- wow." Jin whispers. "Jess is the only one besides Kookie that can pull him from the thoughtlessness of the blank state." Yoongi says with a nod.

Jess has lost track of how long they had been kissing, making out? She pulls away from Hoseok with flushed cheeks, swollen and wet lips, trying to catch her breath. "Prince Hoseok. I-" Jess says, but Hoseok puts his hand up, stopping her. Hoseok tries to breathe deeply through his nose, tries to keep his face straight. "I know. I know you only did it to wake me up. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have kissed you back. It was a mistake." Hoseok whispers looking away.

Jess straightens her uniform. "I'm- I'll go prepare dinner." Jess says with a tears in her eyes, she bites her lip as she exits the room. Hoseok clenches his fists and takes a deep, shaky breath. "It wasn't a mistake. I know how I feel, but I shouldn't take advantage of her." Hoseok whispers before biting his lip, tasting the caramel lip gloss Jess wore.

Jess quickly walked down the hallway, trying to swallow her cries. Jess turns the corner, still trying to catch her breathe, looking up to stop the tears from falling. Jess looks around, making sure no staff was in the hallway before reaching under the dark green apron of her maids uniform. Taking a beautiful green ring from the pocket of her black maids skirt. "Is it really ok? Is it really ok that I took this? Will Hoseokie be mad? H-he says it was a mistake for us to kiss." Jess whispers to herself with tears running down her face.

"What's that?" Taehyung asks from beside Jess. Jess quickly puts the ring under her apron, swiftly sliding back into the pocket of her skirt. "Pardon prince Taehyung?" Jess asks quickly wiping her tears. "What was- Wait. Why are you crying? Awe. I know losing eomma Jung is hard, but it'll get better. My brothers and I are about to leave, but we'll be back in a few days. Please keep and eye on Hobi hyung for us, make sure you both eat well and get lots of rest, ok!" Taehyung says with a boxy smile.

Jess hums with a small smile and a bow. "I would hug you, but I think Hobi hyung would beat me up.. who am I kidding? Mae noona would beat me up!" Taehyung says scratching the back of his head.

"Oh hey, by the way. Kookie already left, but I thought I felt an earthquake earlier. Was that Hobi hyung? How did he wake up?" Taehyung asks tilting his head. Jimin comes around the corner, seemingly deep in thought, but after seeing Taehyung and Jess, he smiles. "Taetae. Did you find the hyungs?" Jimin asks with a sheepish smile.

Felicia, Annie and Madison soon join the three. Jess smiles at the group of maids and bows. "Everything is under control in regards to the quake. I saw prince Namjoon, prince Jin and prince Yoongi earlier. They went to check on the staff, to make sure no one was hurt during the quake." Jess says with a smile. "Thank you!" Jimin and Taehyung say in unison before continuing down the hall.
