As I awoke the next morning, I didn't feel Natsu at the edge of my bed. I looked on the floor as much as I could without falling off, and I even tried to look in the kitchen without getting off my bed.

I sighed and pulled myself back to the middle of my bed without finding Natsu.

I sat there in the quiet, looking out my window of the little river below with the cherry blossoms floating down into the water.

I tried to move my legs, but I couldn't do it yet. It has only been about a day since I got out of the hospital.

I got teary eyed.

I then heard a knock on the door.

"Hey Lucy! I'm coming in! I have breakfast for you, so wake up!"he said, and opened the door. I almost screamed.

I tried to get back under the covers to hide my face, but he got in before I knew it and sat all the food down on the table.

"Here we go! Were gonna feast today!" he said, halliply, and walked over to me and grabbed the wheelchair.

"Thank you." I said. "I don't only mean the food though!" I said, catching my mistake, and turning to put my hands up on Natsu's chest.

I quickly took them off of him and he gave a grin. I smiled back.

"Let's eat!" I said, and he pushed me to sit at the table like I was in a normal chair.

"Thank you, Natsu, for leaving early to get this food." I said. He smiled.

"Let's dig in!" he said excitedly, and started to pile up food on his plate greadily. I just grabbed some hashbrowns and a pancake he got from the nearby breakfast cafe, and started to eat. We sat there for a good amount of time until all of the food was gone.

As soon as Natsu finished eating, he jumped up and looked at the clock on my wall in the kitchen.

"Oh shoot! I have to go!" yelled Natsu, and pulled on some nice clothes rapidly. "Lucy! Will you be okay alone for about an hour and a half?" he asked. I nodded my head normally, but I didn't know what Natsu was doing. "And you are able to push yourself around? Right?" he asked, and I nodded again, this time grabbing the wheels and pushing then so my chair moved.

Natsu smiled at me, then before I knew it he was out of the room waving goodbye.

I tried to think on the positive side while Natsu was gone.

I practiced turning my wheelchair. I started a puzzle I've wanted to start for a while. I wrote some more of my book, and I just tried to have fun while Natsu is most likely acting up around town, scaring kids and stuff like that.

I sighed and pushed myself to look at my clock.

"1:28" I said quietly to myself.

I went over to the fridge and pulled it open to reveal almost empty fridge.

I sighed and pulled out some old strawberries out from the bottom of the shelf.

I slowly picked out the moldy ones and set them into the nearby trash can.

I washed the rest and sunk into my wheelchair, eating the washed strawberries.

I then heard loud noises coming from below me, so I could only assume-

"I'm back!" yelled Natsu as he pushed open my door. It flung to the wall, hit it, and flew back to Natsu and whacked him in the face.

He took a step backwards and yelled at the door.

I laughed, trying not to spit out the strawberry that I had just put into my mouth.

"Hey! It's not funny! I thought you were attacking me!" yelled Natsu as he saw me laughing, but then he smiled and started to laugh with me.

Me and Natsu laughed for a little while until we both calmed down. I pushed myself over to him as he started to walk in, closing the door behind himself.

He smiled at me again.

"Sorry I was a little late to get back here. How long was I gone? Three hours?" he asked, sitting at the table. I nodded at him.

"Where did you go for so long?" I asked him.

He looked away.

"Where did you go?" I asked more strenly this time, trying to walk over to look in his eyes.

When I saw his face, he looked hurt.

"What wrong?" I asked. He shook his head and looked over at me.

"It's classified information. I can't tell a single soul, no matter the purpose." he said, then went and look through my fridge.

As soon as he saw how empty it was, he turned around and asked, "Want to go out for lunch?" It was like he was a whole different person then who he was acting like just ten seconds ago.

I nodded slowly. "Sure." I said, and I pushed myself over to Natsu.

"I have to bring your chair down first, so you can go and sit at the table or on your bed. You choose." he said, and I nodded, pointing over to my bed. It was closer to the door, so he wouldn't have to carry me as far, even though it's only like two feet closer.

He picked me up and set me on my bed, and as fast as light, he sprinted out of the room, the wheelchair in his hands.

I heard his loud and heavy footsteps slowly fade away.

Suddenly, there was a loud crash and the sound of Natsu screaming.

I laughed, knowing he fell down the stairs.

I sat there for a few more seconds, then I heard the loud footsteps again on the old stairs to the apartment building.

"Hehe. Did you hear me fall?" he asked, putting his hands on the back of his head, smiling.

I started to laugh again, and he joined me.

As our, once again, laughing fit came to an end, Natsu picked me up and we headed down the stairs.

About half way down the stairs, a cold gust of wind came rushing towards us.

I turned my head over to see where it came from.

But all I saw was black.
