The rest of the day, Uraraka thinks about the encounters she had had with Bakugou. About how she had lost to him in the festival, how later he had approached her with such anger, and the look on his face when she had fallen to the ground. It was the last thing she saw before blacking out and the reason why she was staring at him earlier. That conflicted face flashes through Uraraka's head as she soaks her sore muscles in a tub of warm water. While she searches Bakugou's expression for meaning, she is surprised when she picks up a note concern in his eyes.

"Concern?" She thinks, "How is that possible? He doesn't care about anything except for winning and himself. Is it because I'm a girl? No, many people made it clear today that he is equal with his treatment of genders. Maybe...he cares for me?" As this last thought goes through her head she laughs aloud. "Hah! Bakugou is incapable of caring for anyone other than himself." And as soon as she's satisfied with her conclusion, she remembers what he had said. "...He did call me Angel-Face...and he also called me cute! Is it possible...? No. No way. Bakugou is a sociopath, and even if he did like me, there's no point in thinking about it." Uraraka notices heat spreading across her face and her heart rate picking up. She has never known of a boy to like her, so the idea of someone liking her, even if that someone is Bakugou, is appealing. She shakes her head in hopes to rid herself of the ridiculous thoughts. Uraraka finishes up in the tub and gets ready for bed. As she hides under a mountains of blankets, she still can't shake the boy from her mind. "Why am I still thinking about him?! He is definitely not thinking about me! He's probably steaming with rage because Todoroki didn't use all of his power. And anyway I should be focusing on my goal to become a hero, not stupid boy stuff. My parents need me." Uraraka lets out one last sigh and sifts deeper into the covers. She manages to fall asleep thinking about what the future will hold for her and her parents.

Bakugou went straight home after the sports festival to try to calm down. Usually, when he gets super worked up he goes for a run, but that's not an option because of his injuries. This makes him even more pissed off. "FUCKING HALF-AND-HALF BASTARD! WHO THE FUCK DOES HE THINK HE IS, WE'RE ALL HERE TO BECOME HEROES AND HE CAN'T BECOME NUMBER ONE IF HE THINKS HE'S TOO GOOD TO USE ALL OF HIS FUCKING POWER...does he think he's better than me or something!?! HOW COULD HE USE HIS LEFT WITH FUCKING DEKU AND NOT ME. I'LL SHOW THAT FUCK." Freshly clean from the shower, Bakugou sits on his bedroom floor, stretching while ruminating over the day. He gets up, violently brushes his teeth, and crashes into bed. Even with Recovery Girl's quirk exhausting his body, he can't go to sleep. He could still feel the weight of the medal on his chest. To Bakugou, it's more like a burden than a reward. After about forty-five minutes of tossing and turning he becomes groggy. "...Half-and-Half won't know what hit him...I'll show him...Mr. Rich Boy thinks he's all that...fuck off...."

Bakugou's dreams were filled with illustrations from the previous day. It was mostly the retellings of his fight with Todoroki, but for some reason, Uraraka had small part. And the dream with Uraraka wasn't like any other dream he had had before. It was...very different. She was sitting in a desk in the middle of their empty classroom. Uraraka wasn't wearing the opaque tights she usually wore and her head was down on the table. Her arms were covering her face, but Bakugou could tell that she was crying. He opened the door slowly and stepped inside. She still didn't notice, so he approached her. "Hey Angel-Face," Bakugou said sternly. "What's wrong?" When she didn't reply, he moved closer to her, and found himself brushing her hair behind her ear. The feeling of her soft skin grazing his rough fingertips was electrifying. As soon as his hand left her face, she got up swiftly, took his face in her hands, and kissed him. It was only a soft touch, but it left Bakugou feeling weightless. She pulled back and smiled sweetly, with a beautiful light pink coloring her cheeks. Before he knew it, he grabbed her waist and pulled her into him, squeezing her lightly. Her hands rested on his chest as she laid her head on his shoulder. Bakugou felt his feet lift off the ground and realized that she used her quirk to make them float. He really was weightless. There was only the two of them, in an embrace, floating through the air. She looked up at him as if she was about to speak and right as she opened her mouth, he wakes up.

"What the hell?" Bakugou says aloud, "Why the fuck was Chubby-Cheeks in my dream?" He shuts off his alarm and his hand immediately goes to his lips; he could still feel her light touch. Bakugou shakes off the thought and gets out of bed to prepare for the school day. As he brushes his teeth, he can't help but think back to the dream. "It would be kinda cool to make out in zero gravity," he thinks. "It's gonna be pretty weird seeing her in class after that bizarre dream." His mind goes back to the other times he has seen her in class, "UGH! She always hangs out with Deku, that fucking nerd! She fought surprisingly well in the match with me yesterday, and she even stood up to me afterwards, she's got guts. So why does she hang out with that spineless Deku?" Bakugou doesn't understand why this makes him so angry, why should he care? He tries to shake the girl out of his head, eats breakfast and heads off to school.
