The view from the window is one of terror. Through the rain, he sees that the tsunami is much closer than he thought it would be, but it seems to have stopped. It seems to be forming a wall of water stretching across an invisible border. Almost as if the water is being pushed up against a glass wall, but there is no wall. "The Pros must have created that to protect the surviving land. This is a villains doing." Bakugou knows that there's no way the tsunami will reach the house, but to see it go so far inland is terrifies him. He looks back to the girl sleeping peacefully on the couch and calms his breathing. "Alright," he says to himself with a determined expression. He moves through the house like ghost. Securing and blocking all the openings, so only they could see out and only if they decided to, gathering supplies and taking inventory. When he was done, the house looks and feels like a safety bunker. He lets out a satisfied sigh and goes back to the kitchen to prepare lunch.

Uraraka wakes up and smiles smelling something delicious and remembers Bakugou. "Mmmm," she says as she makes her way to the kitchen.

When she steps in Bakugou makes eye contact with her and hands her a plate of pancakes, with a big 'I'm Sorry' spelled in chocolate sauce. The grin disappears from her face when she remembers what had happened. "I'm supposed to be mad at you!" Bakugou refrains from laughing and pulls her out a chair. She sits while comedically glaring at him and devours the pancakes in minutes. "Thank you... Those were amazing pancakes." He nods and cleans her plate. After several moments of silence, which Uraraka couldn't stand, she spoke, "...oh whatever... you're forgiven I guess," she says crossing her arms and turning her head away. Bakugou then bows which makes Uraraka laugh. "You are so weird."

"Oh okay Floaty, you're not one to talk."

"Yeah, yeah."

"Anyway, while you were asleep I did some preparations, just in case we're stuck here for a little bit longer." Bakugou doesn't want Uraraka to know how bad their situation is, so he plays it off like it's no big deal.

"Hah, I can see that... was it really necessary to put tarps on all the windows?"

"Well uh, I want to keep the insolation in..." he lies. He put the tarps up because he doesn't want her to see what's really going on outside, and he wants to protect the house from looters.

"Okay, so what is on the agenda for today Captain Bakugou!"

"Tsch, well I took inventory of all of the food and made a chart so we won't eat it too fast. I don't really know what else there is to do, but sit and wait."

"Ew that sounds so boring... I want to do something fun." Uraraka says with a frown.

"Well I can smell you from over here so I think a shower would be a good thing."

"Hey! I do not stink! I smell great!"

"Keep telling yourself that Floaty."

"Hmpf!"

"Listen, there's no electricity so the showers are going to be freezing if we don't do something. I need you to go upstairs and run the shower and I'll be in the basement using my quirk to heat the tank. I need you to tell me when the water runs hot."

"Okay!" Uraraka says cheerily. She heads up and goes into the bathroom she had seen on her trip to his room. "I'm here!"

"OKAY!" he shouts from all the way in the basement. "I AM GOING TO START!"

Bakugou starts to jog in place to generate sweat. Soon, he has controlled explosions going off under the tank. It has been five minutes of this and Bakugou starts to get impatient. "HOW IS IT GOING UP THERE?!" ...Silence... "URARAKA!?" The next thing he hears is a high-pitched scream and a loud thud. He sprints as fast as he can up both sets of stairs and bursts into the bathroom. He sees a dark figure on top of a squirming shower curtain. "GET THE FUCK OFF OF HER!" He picks the man up by his collar and throws him back into the tub. Sparks are flying from the palms of us hands. Uraraka, crying, wraps herself in the fallen down shower curtain and crawls to the door. She watches as Bakugou beats the living daylights out of the intruder. "YOU FUCKING DISGUSTING LECH! YOU'RE SO FUCKING WEAK THAT YOU PRAY ON TEENAGE GIRLS?! WHAT KIND OF MAN ARE YOU?!" After the man becomes unresponsive, Uraraka slowly gets up and moves over to Bakugou.

"Bakugou? *sniffle*." He doesn't stop the relentless pummeling and Uraraka grabs his arm. "Bakugou stop! Please! You'll kill him!" He easily breaks free of her grasp and continues his assault.

"I SHOULD KILL HIM!! HE TRIED TO HURT YOU! IF HE EVEN LAID A FINGER ON YOU..."

"HE DIDN'T! THE SHOWER CURTAIN BLOCKED HIM!" This causes Bakugou to pause and look at Uraraka. The image of Bakugou, covered in blood scares her, but there is something else she notices; tears in his eyes. "...Bakugou..." He quickly looks away, not wanting her to see him cry, and throws the man over his shoulder. Uraraka steps out of the way as he drags him down the stairs, outside, and throws him out into the storm.

"IF YOU EVER COME BACK I WILL KILL YOU." Bakugou slams and locks the door. He then runs up stairs and picks her up in the shower curtain. She's crying from the pure shock of the whole thing and he carries her gently down the stairs. "It's okay Uraraka, he's never coming back. Shh, it's okay." Bakugou's demeanor has completely changed as he plays with Uraraka's hair and soothes her. After she has calmed down enough, she speaks.

"I–I'm not weak *sniffle*."

"What?" He says, still using a gentle voice.

"I was just *sniffle* surprised, and I couldn't see because *sniffle* of the shower curtain. I could've saved myself." Bakugou is surprised by her reaction to the recent events. She's not crying because she's scared of what happened. She's crying because she couldn't fight back.

"...Uraraka, If I hadn't gotten there as fast as I did, I'm sure you would've had him scrambling on the ceiling in no time." The thought gives Uraraka a giggle. "Don't ever think you're weak. Ever." Once again, she looks up at him with tears in her eyes and sees dazzling dark crimson ones staring back.

"...I think about it all the time... about the Sports Festival... how you blew everything away with one go." Bakugou furrows his brow remembering the fight.

"Uraraka, you know that blast almost had me?"

"No way," she says while wiping the tears out of her eyes.

"No, it's true. If there had been any more debris, my arms wouldn't have been able to blast it away and you would've gotten me."

"Seriously??" Uraraka's expression changes. Although the stains from tears still linger on her face, her eyes have been lit up again.

"Yep, trust me. It was not looking good for me. I can't say you would've of won, but just know that it was a fair match." She doesn't say anything and intently gazes into his eyes, looking for sincerity. "Ochako?" She says nothing and climbs onto his lap while still bundled in the shower curtain.

"...I trust you... Katsuki."
