"Mam, Mr. Karan Luthra is waiting for you. Should I let him in?" My assistant said. What is karan doing here? I wonder -- what's the new issue is about?

"Yeah, Maya. Let him come." I said and she nodded and went outside. I replied few mails from my laptop and -- karan entered fuming with anger. I wonder what happened with this hot-head guy. "What's the matter, Karan? You want something? Coffee or tea?"

"I'll have black coffee, Preeta." He said and I nodded. I dialed to maya and asked her to bring two black coffees to my cabin. I put the phone down and interlocked my fingers and looked at karan.

"Now -- tell me. What's the matter, Luthra?" I asked and he sighed, before looking straightly into my eyes.

"Why did you hide amyra from me, preeta arora?"

My eyes widened at his question. HOW THE HELL DOES HE KNOW ABOUT AMYRA? DID MY MUM TELL HIM?

"K-Karan, w-who Amyra?" I asked dumbly and he laughed, sarcastically. Fuck, he know about amyra. But, how?

"Stop acting dumb, Preeta. Oh, wait -- you're already dumb, what will you act now? my foot." He said and I huffed. Really, luthra?

"OH, really Luthra? I'm dumb now? Who the hell left his girlfriend when she's in her most vulnearble state? You--" I stood up from my chair and pointed my finger at him, "--left me. You left everything behind, luthra. I was about to say I was pregnant and what did you say before I could even utter a word? You said -- 'I'm breaking up with you. I dated you for a bet!' I still remember your words from that night, karan.

you won't remember anything -- because your a cold-hearted. A monster. And do you seriously think, I would expose my daugther to a monster like you? Not in a million years, Karan. I don't know how the hell you got to know about, Amyra! Oh, wait. I should've known before. You've many connections, right? One huge connection is from my house -- my mother. I don't understand how she forgived you -- when you honestly hurt me like this.

you've broke my heart, Luthra. And nothing can mend it, again! Nothing. And, you weren't there for me when I needed you the most, Karan. You weren't there. And you won't be there for me. My mother and father were there for me. My Mother and Father luthra. And I've hurt them like many times -- because of you! Because of you, luthra. I can't give my daugther your name, alright! Amyra will always remain Arora, no matter what. She can never be a Luthra -- even though she's your daughter."

I sighed and sat down in my chair and he gulped down. I drank water and wiped my tears. I should let him know. I must.

"Give me ten days, Arora."

I gave him a look. "For?"

"To make you mine, again. And to make Amyra, Luthra from Arora. She's my daughter, Preeta." He said and I shot him another look. What the hell is this mad fellow talking again? I won't dare to fall in love with him again. He shot me a look and I rolled my eyes. I would never fall in love with him, again. He broke my heart and my trust.

"Is this another bet, Luthra?" I asked, leaning forward. He smirked and leaned forward too. He smiled.

"Never in a million years, Arora. This is true, from my heart. Just ten days, arora. If Amyra doesn't accept me as her father and you as your life partner -- I will never show my face to both of you. I would leave to canada, Arora. Just ten days." he said and i thought. It's just ten days and amyra won't accept him as father, of course. She's my daughter.

"Okay, Luthra. Deal!"

He grinned. "Deal."

I smirked. Let's see, Luthra.
