» after seven years.

"AMYRA I swear, I'm not going to give you a chocolate, if you don't eat your dinner," Preeta scolded her seven year old, daughter Amyra.

Amyra frowned and pouted at her mother. "Mommy, I don't want to eat rice and potato curry...I want to eat Pizaa!" She exclaimed. Preeta slapped her forhead and sighed, putting down the spoon in the food bowl. She was currently feeding her daughter, Amyra in their penthouse. It's one of the expensive penthouse in London. Preeta raised her daughter by herself ― as a strong and single mother. She kissed her daughter on the cheek.

"Last bite, baby. We'll have pizaa in the morning tomorrow, okay?" Preeta said softly and held the spoon from the bowl. Amyra pouted, but reluctantly opened her mouth and preeta fed the last spoon of rice and potato curry. Preeta smiled and wiped the food, which was still on Amyra's chin and a little bit over her throat. She removed the cloth around her neck. These seven years were very tough and rough for being a single mother.

People threw tantrums at her and her family. But, still, Sarla Arora and Raghuveer Arora supported her decision and never left her side, in the obstacles she faced. After Raghuveer Arora got retired ― preeta took over the company and she ruled ruthlessly. Her old-self was in the cage of her heart. She didn't want people to know, how hurt she is, how broken she is and how much she cared.

Being the cold and heartless billionaire, has it's perks. With a cold stare, she could shoo the media and their quirky questions. People were scared of her. And she like it. When someone destroys you, they tend to become dangerous. Preeta's parents are scared. Their daughter; a sweet, caring and kind girl had turned into something ― they never imagined in their wildest dreams. All preeta cared about was; her parents, Amyra, her sister, srishti and her best friend, Rishika.

"Mommy, will you take me to park tomorrow? I had so much fun, last friday." Amyra said, coloring the designs ― which she drew three days ago. Preeta absent-mindly nodded her head, in the process of checking her e-mails from the office and few of her clients. Amyra's tounge stuck out and finally she finished colouring the designs, which she drew three days ago. "Mommy, look!" She held up the paper, to show the drawing to Preeta. Preeta smiled at her and startled at the picture. The memory from seven years ago, came in front of her.

The drawing consists of three people. On the left was preeta, dressed up in a red dress, which she wore often to her work. Below the picture, mommy was written. In the middle was a little girl with jet black hair and was wearing a pink gown and below the picture was written amyra. And on the right, there was a man in blue jeans and red t-shirt, with jet black hair and red shoes. Below the picture it was written, daddy.

One person's picture came in preeta's head. The person, whom she didn't want to see. The least expected person in her life. Preeta gulped, looking at her daughter. How did she know about his hair colour? His height? And how did she know about her father? "Amyra, who told you about this person," she pointed at the man in the drawing.

Amyra smiled. "Grandma told me about Daddy, Mum. She told me he left us, before I was born. It hurts as I couldn't even meet him."

Preeta's nose flared. Her eyes were filled with hatred for that man, whom she loved before. That man didn't love her as much as she loved him. The love is replaced by hate for him in her heart. All she want right now is ― not a single information about Amyra should reach 'THE karan luthra' by any person ― mostly not by her own mother.

She sighed and patted her cheek. "It's such a nice drawing, Amyra. Well done!"

Amyra beamed at her. "Mum, what is Dad's name? Grandma said to ask you, itself."

Preeta rolled her eyes. "It's late, Amyra. Sleep now. I'll tell you a story."

Amyra frowned, but nodded. She took the teddy bear from the dining table and rushed to her room. Preeta locked all the doors and went behind her daughter. Amyra lied on the bed and preeta sat beside her and weaved a tale for her daughter, until she fell asleep.
