Injured!Levi x Worried!Reader ~ Stitches

Request: Okay, I have another idea. A scenario in which Levi is injured after that first fight with Kenny, and the reader having to stitch up his arm (shirtless Levi!!! 😍) since a medic isn't available (because the scouts are in hiding). She's really quiet, and when he asks her what's wrong, she bursts into tears and confesses how terrified she is of losing him. You can decide how it ends. Quietly standing next to your captain you carefully stitched up the cut he had on his shoulder, sitting there shirtless Levi looked down to the ground below him seeming to be in thought. You couldn't deny that you hold feelings for the man and having him nearly die on you so many times a week nearly makes you have a heart attack.

You've been incredibly quiet all day, normally you would be the chatty and bubbly type but you just weren't up for it today. Not after all that's happened, finishing the last stitch you made sure they were all intact before snipping the thread careful not to hurt Levi.

What if Levi had gotten a more severe injury..

What if he were bleeding more..

What if he didn't make it?

Biting down on your lower lip you felt a lump in your throat as you did the finishing touches to the stitches. Levi flicked his gaze to you and eyed you suspiciously ''you're very quiet, what's wrong?'' he asked as your gaze met his own. ''N-Nothing's wrong...'' you mumble quietly averting your delicate gaze back down to his shoulder ''bullshit, what is it Y/N... You're gone as quiet as a mouse'' Levi responded instantly making you jump slightly.

Levi was about to apologize for sounding so harsh but was put silent when he heard you sob. Snapping his head around quickly his eyes softened on your tear stained cheeks, the endless tears rolling down as you lowered your head biting your lip. ''I'm terrified one day you'll be killed, one day you go missing in action, this past week has had me nearly break down too many times for my own liking because I love you captain and I can't stop worrying about you every time we go out there!'' you burst, desperately trying to wipe away the tears that loosely poured down your cheeks with your sleeve as sobs shook through your body. Levi sits there sitting up straight slowly watching you with his mouth agape slightly, hesitantly reaching out his arm to you Levi gently tugged on your shirt.

Looking down to the male who sat on the crate, Levi held onto your shirt loosely giving you a faint expression. ''Captain I'm sorry- I shouldn't have..'' you attempt but Levi shook his head ''don't apologize, relax.. Here..'' he muttered having you sit down on his lap, sniffling you don't dare try to face him. Feeling arms wrap around your waist, Levi pulls you up against him as he presses his body against your back. Nuzzling into the crook of your neck you felt your face flare up in a blush ''don't worry about me, I can handle myself Y/N... Don't cry..I-'' he stopped seeming nervous about continuing what he was saying, pressing gentle kisses to your skin silence engulfed you both for a few seconds before Levi finally responded.

''I love you too..''
