Walking along the shoreline of the incredibly deep lake of your hometown you hummed softly to the music that played in your ears from your earphones. Denim shorts and a tank top for the summer days that were put upon you. A gentle breeze came every now and then along with the scent of a forest that was near the lake, most days you'd come here to get some air and chill but you couldn't put off the eerie feeling that always kept crawling back to you.

The feeling of being watched.

The area was a nice and family friendly looking place, a small restaurant just around the corner as well. Trudging alongside the brisk waters that lay still you gazed out towards the vast lake, sunlight shimmering off the top as large rocks and boulders sat at the opposite side of you. The stones and gravel crunched underneath your feet with every step you took, hands dug in the pockets of your light jacket that held your phone in one of the pockets as well.

Nobody was around, which you liked so you could be at peace, noticing the same wooden dock that stretched out towards the deep waters your vision trailed along it as you strolled onto it, planks thudding and thumping from underneath you as you padded your way along it. Eventually arriving at the edge of the dock you sat down with your legs crossed, taking out your phone you lay it next to you along with your earphones. Resting your hands at your sides you sat there in silence as birds chirped and flew overhead.

Shifting your vision towards the boulders across the lake you could've sworn you saw smokey orbs staring back at you then disappearing a second later. Shrugging the thoughts off you let out a content sigh of relief.

That didn't last long though..

The feeling of rough hands against your shoulders made you spin around in fright only to come face to face with an elder man that looked in his fifties at least. Harsh stubble lined his jaw as dull eyes bored into your own, not long after you've been shoved into the lukewarm water that had overwhelmed your entire body as panic set in. Scratching and gripping onto the man's sleeve you tugged him in with you as well as you began to kick and scratch at his attempts to get a grip on you.

Grabbing your wrists he held them together tightly as you kicked and squirmed under the water. Feeling the substance fill your lungs and burn your throat painfully you continued to fight against your attacker whilst he began to tighten his grip watching you begin to grow tired.

A violent wave of water came hurdling towards you both sending you to shift uncontrollably underneath, vision starting to blur as you chest ached in pain. A blur of silver shot past you and that's when you realised the stranger's grip on you had ceased entirely, eyes widening you looked to where your attacker previously was only to find him being restrained and held down by a raven-haired male with a fishtail? Wait... Wait what!? Locking his steel gaze with your own he shoo'd you away, scrambling out of the water you hauled yourself up onto the wooden dock and gasped for air.

Leaning over on your hands and knees you began to cough, spurting the water out of your lungs as you wheezed in pain. Your E/C eyes stung with tears of fright as you snapped your head behind you to the water. Crawling back towards the edge the water lay still as if nothing happened. Gulping you stared down into the bottomless pit. Not being quick enough to react you nearly screeched from fright when the same raven-haired man emerged from the calm water, ebony locks sticking to his forehead along with those enchanting silvered orbs.
