Jace could hear voices all around him. He wanted to open his eyes but if felt like they where being glued down. Jace heard the door open and footsteps came closer to the bed.
"Jace?" It was Alec.
"Isabelle came back from her walk, and you would never guess who she brought back with her." Jace could feel his heart race a little. Clary. He thought isabelle found Clary.
"Jace she found Simon" Jace couldn't believe what he was hearing. Simon the bloodsucker over Clary the only woman in the world that could capture Jace's heart.
"Isabelle walked into the institute carrying him, he's on the bed next to you she wouldn't tell us what happened though. She hasn't left his side since." Jace could hear Alec sigh.
"The silent brothers have done all they can Jace. From here on out it's up to you" the door shut, Jace could hear Isabelle whispering to Simon but Jace really had no interest in listening in on their conversation. Jace heard the door open and hit the wall behind it.
"Isabelle you must come quickly Sebastion's here." Jace wanted to get up he wanted to move. Jace heard Isabelle rise from the chair next to Simons bed.
"Simon?" Jace couldn't tell what was going on. He heard Mayrse gasp.
"Simon what is wrong with you?" There were footsteps on the floor. Jace heard Isabelle calling out his name.
"Simon, where are you going?" The door shut and yet again Jace was left to deal with his own thoughts.
