Jace couldn't believe it. he lost Clary again. He stood there stunned. Clary looked so helpess and that stupid blood sucker almost killed her. He could feel the heat radiate through his body. Jace clenched and unclenched his fists. He felt a hand on his shoulder he turned around.
"Jace" Alec said "calm down, we'll find her she'll be okay" this only made Jace angrier.
"How do you know that Alec for all we know Clary could be dead because that stupid vampire didn't have any self control!" Jace yelled angrily.
"Hey!" Isabelle said. Jace turned his gaze to her.
"Simon didn't know what he was doing he was and maybe still is possessed." Isabelle said. She walked out of the library.
"The clave has to know about this" said Mayrse.
" no, no they can't find out yet" Jocelyn stammered.
"Jocelyn we can't keep them in the dark, this has gone to far it's out of our hands now".
"Clary's smart she'll figure something out right? " Jocelyn was questioning more herself then anyone else.
"Maybe we should hand over to the clave" Luke spoke.
" at the moment they've got a better handle on this then we do" Jocelyn glared at him with betrayed eyes.
"How could you say that" Jocelyn said.
"She's my daughter and your going to put her life in someone else's hands!" Jocelyn started to raise her voice.
"She might not even be alive. No one can lose that much blood and still live Simon practically sucked her dry" Jocelyn stared at Luke. She had nothing to say, she turned on her heel and walked out. Luke stared at the ground ashamed for a moment before following her out. Alec, Jace and Mayrse were all that was left in the library.
"I'll contact the clave" Mayrse said. "No please Mayrse don't do it yet. Just give us 3 days to look for Clary just 3 days" Jace begged. Mayrse and Jace stared at each other while Alec stood there awkwardly.
"Fine but only 3 days no longer" at that Jace also walked out of the library with a small smile on his face.
