4 years later

I stood smiling brightly with my college diploma for all my family and friends to see. "That's my girl!" Hanji yelled from the crowd. I giggled and walked off the stage.

After all the college graduates received their diplomas, we dismissed and all gathered outside. "I thought I couldn't get any prouder of you." My mom said as she wiped away tears.

"Me either, sweetie." My dad said.

"Good job, sis." Vincent said, now 10 years old.

"Thank you guys." I smiled and tried to hold back my own tears of happiness.

"We're so happy for you, Rose!" Sasha said as she and the whole gang from high school appeared. I thanked them all and went to hug each one of them. However, there was still one person missing...

"What about me?" A very distinct voice said from behind me. I gasped and tears starting flowing down my cheeks.

I slowly turned around to see Levi in his military uniform holding a big bouquet of beautiful red roses. I thought he wasn't going to be able to make it because he was out of the country.

"Levi... you came..." I said, still in shock.

"Why wouldn't I?" He asked as I jumped into his arms for a hug. "I'm so proud of you, Rose."

"Me? You're the one who puts his life on the line every day." I said as I pulled away and looked into his eyes. He gave me a slight smile and a quick kiss.

"Listen, Rose, there's something I've been wanting to say." He said and seemed a bit nervous. "From the moment I met you, I was in love with you. How you fell for a guy like me, I don't know. But still, I couldn't be happier, and I love you so much. There's no one I would rather spend the rest of my life with, so with that being said." He reached into his back pocket and pulled out a small black box, kneeling on one knee. My breath caught in my throat as I heard several gasps from my family and friends. "Will you please do me the honor of marrying me, Rose?"

There was no question about it. I quickly nodded my head as the tears poured endlessly. "Yes!" I said as everybody cheered. Levi stood up and slid the gorgeous ring onto my finger, right next to his promise ring from four years ago.

"Thank you, thank you." He repeated in my ear through tears as we tightly embraced. "I love you so much, Rose." I leaned my head back and looked into his beautiful grey-blue eyes.

"I love you, too, Levi." I said as he cupped my cheek and kissed me deeply, sealing our engagement.

Time skip

Many years later, Levi and I settled down in the countryside and had two kids, a boy first and then a girl. The boy had my personality and Levi's looks, while the girl had Levi's personality and my looks. "Daddy's back!" Our son yelled as he looked out the window. I looked outside and saw Levi and our daughter walking up to the house while carrying the grocery bags from the store. "Hey, Dad!" Our son said as soon as Levi walked through door.

"Hey, buddy." He smiled and went to the kitchen to set the stuff down. "Hey, sweetie." He said as he came over to me.

"Hey." I said and he gave me a quick peck on the cheek.

"How's the baby doing?" He asked as he rubbed my growing stomach. Currently, we were expecting our third child. It was another girl due in about three months.

"Pretty good right now." I responded as he gave my stomach a peck, too.

"Good." He responded as he got up and faced me again. "You know I love you, right?"

"Yep." I smiled. "And I love you." He gave me a smile and pulled me into a sweet kiss.

"Ew." Our daughter scoffed as she walked past the kitchen.

"You know, I hope our next daughter isn't like you. I can't handle much more." I giggled as I patted my stomach. Levi chuckled and gave me one more peck on the lips.

"You know you love me."

The end.
