When Tsukiyama walked into the coffee shop it noticeably went quiet, even by your standards. The gourmet wasn't exactly popular which was far enough, but the raw silence was surprising.
"Tsukiyama?" Touka glared in a voice somewhere between surprise and offence as if his very presence were enough to trigger her short fuse. Personally you took his horrifying fashion sense as a personal affront. The bright red colour of his blazer was enough to make you narrow your eyes as if starring directly into the sun. Put on something reasonable you weird fuck! You inwardly
"Long time no see, Mon Cheri." He nodded to Touka with a grin that was meant to aggravate her, all the while you were watching silently. "Ah, (Y/N) I see your face is as hard as your carapace."
"Tsukiyama." You nodded to him politely. "You planning on running off to do some rich boy shopping or you gonna actually spend money in my shop this time?"
"Ah, truly the venom from your tongue is more poisonous then the sting you used on Aries, tainted his delectable flesh."
"Are you here for business or pleasure?" You asked him directly, possessing only limited patience.
"Ah I am a humble customer, I suppose this is what to expect from customer service when the main waitress is as angry as badger and an heir apparent a heart as hard as stone."
"How will I ever sleep at night." You said with a totally Stone face. Tsukiyama gave a low chuckle, one that seemed to be either dry humour or contempt hiding behind comedy. He soon noticed Kaneki standing not to far away with a look somewhere between intense concentration and vacancy, it indicated that he was trying very hard to grasp the dynamics of the situation in front of him but was lost all the same.
"Who's this morsel? Your new around here. What's your name?" The predator circled his prey, inspecting Kaneki from every angle he could.
"Um, I'm Kaneki?" He told the glutton, the fear and unease in his voice making it come out as more a question then an answer.
"Oh?" Tsukiyama took a deep breath, savouring the flavour and tasting the scent of the half breed. "C'est magnifique."
"Leave him alone." Touka warned him though with very little concern. "Stop soliciting and take your side show somewhere else."
"You really have no sense of tact my dear." The gourmet told her, though you had to agree he wasn't wrong in that front. "I look forward to trying your coffee." He told Kaneki, trail his hand down his shoulder in a strangely suggestive way. "Give yoshimura my best." You gave a sharp, loud whistle that caught his attention.
"Your bosses want a word." You said with little emotion, the man stopped, smiled at you, then left without a word.
"Who was that guy?" Kaneki asked.
"The twentieth wards biggest parasite, be carful around him." Touka told him with her usual tone.
"Some predators hunt with smell, some stealth, others still use raw strength and speed to simply overpower their prey." You said while polishing a cup. "Tsukiyama, used seduction. Be carful not to get lured in, he has an appetite for flesh that borders on the perverted. He may look all pristine and civilised, but he's just as savage and barbaric as the rest of us. He's the kinda guy who thinks he's better then you just because he'll eat your heart off a silver plate and not an alleyway."

Kami university was a descent enough place to study, despite it not having the benefit of having Touka around. The blue haired beauty was lodged especially in your thoughts today, despite the fact that there was a more pressing matters. Your relationship was a little rocky as of late, though there were several factors at play. Firstly was fact that you were both over worked and tired, you especially. Between full time education, a part time job and running a nationwide ghoul syndicate there was little time for leisure, most of your free time was spent training Kaneki. Though thankfully Yomo had seemed to taken over that, probably for the best since the old man was the one taught you.
